I finally got through and received the same error.

EDIT: I got it to work. I used "freestorage" instead of "FREESTORAGE."

So, I have 4 accounts linked to my PlayNC master account. The free storage pane was added to the first account I selected. Every other account I have tried to add the free upgrade too has failed. Some say I have used the coupon too many times others say it has been added but it does not appear in game..

I REALLY hope the the free upgrade is not just one per PlayNC account you have rather than one per Guild Wars account...

Edit.... It does work. You just have to make it successfully through the whole process !

Is it just me, or is it almost impossible to connect to the NCsoft store ? It times out constantly. I have yet to get the Free pane.

I had a lot of timeout/connection errors.

Finally, I manage to "apply coupon"... got an error message.
I tried again, and it said "failed distribution".

But: I checked ingame and got the free storage nevertheless, despite the error messages.

NC Store is bombarded with requests for (free) storage panes, makeovers and the like. Just wait a day or two, the pane will still be there.

Finally got the free storage. It took about 5 tries. If you follow the steps on the guild wars site and the correct screen doesn't come up, the you have to go back to the guild wars site and start over. There is no way to recover from any error on the ncsoft site.

Well this totaly sucks took me hours to get to the point of adding freestorage or FREESTORAGE to the coupon thingy and i get this.
Invalid Coupon Code. The Coupon Code you have entered is either not available on this product, or you have exceeded the maximum
number of uses.
tryed a few times and always the same. sigh

Think i'll leave it a few days cause looks like they have a bug with this?

To celebrate the Guild Wars® 4 Year Anniversary, we're giving away a free pane of storage to all Guild Wars players. Here's how you can claim your free pane of storage:

Took me a while to get on the site and through everything...after some reloading and whatnot I finally got it though.

And for the code, I just copy/pasted the word from the website with the instructions and it worked ok for me.

I've got some problems with the free storage pane. The site is slow, has time outs and when I finally entered the coupon it said that it was not valid or already used. When I log in to Guild Wars the extra storage pane is not activated yet.

Edit: After many tries I got it working.

i'm honestly feeling so f**ked up over the whole update. People would want to avail of the storage while the birthday event is going on, as no doubt lots of loot would be dropping. But they cannot with all the bugs. and the birthday event is just until Monday too =/ (and Customer Support says that they will answer to support tickets on the next business day. which is like, Monday or Tuesday at latest... like, the end of the event =/. And i passed my ticket on Saturday +08:00GMT which is like after all the bugginess the NCSoft website displayed before finally deciding that they'll go for indefinite maintenance. So practically a waste of time submitting my ticket there as I couldn't catch up either way)

Like, in my case, I keep on getting this "The specified account is already linked to another NCsoft account. Please contact Customer Support if you require additional help." when I made the new NCSoft account. Am i the only one getting this??

I have bought from the Guild Wars store repeatedly from the game client redirection itself at 2007 and I know I definitely have a Guild Wars account, but I don't remember signing up for an NCSoft account at all!

now, there's this page (http://help.ncsoft.com/cgi-bin/ncsof...ted=1154207067) saying:

"**If your existing Guild Wars game account is not linked to a NCsoft master account, you will be given the option to LINK & UPGRADE ACCOUNT when attempting to use the access key or make an upgrade purchase. You will need to enter your Guild Wars game account name and password for this. This will integrate your Guild Wars game account into your NCsoft master account. From then on, you will manage your Guild Wars game account from that NCsoft master account. Your account cannot be un-linked.

Creating a new account within your NCsoft master account will automatically append "@ncsoft" to the end of the account name you choose, making your Guild Wars account name "[email protected]" (there is no ".com"). You will not be able to change this account name later."

i certainly don't remember this when I was ordering in 2007 then! Now, a typical Guild Wars account name is the email address, and the NCSoft Master Account login page sure as hell don't let you type in your whole email address. So definitely no adding the "@ncsoft" there.

So this is really wtf for me.
