People wanted Mel Shot spikeability reduced...done.

People wanted Kappaspike and Steam nerfed...done.
People wanted SnH nerfed...done.
Barring Primal Rage, I see every skill that people have been complaining about for the past 3 months in PvP nerfed in this update. Save for random tinkering and "stirring up" the game a bit, what are people missing?

well i have never post in update thread because there is usually no point. all im really wondering is why they havent posted developer notes on this yet if they will at all. probably not that important to anet of an update. but oh well its not like i play that often anymore

I see nothing but nerfs. I see no 'real' or 'noteworthy' buffs to any profession. Distortion remains OP'd/Abused by E/Me Mindblasters, Lyssa's Aura Me/Any and now IW Mesmers! The game's taking a spiral motion.. like that of toilet water.. and Anet's sitting atop it.. pooping away.
GWars is diminishing with each and every update.. Qq

Really? Ive never heard anyone that wanted these changes.
Oh right, all those people who played HA exclusively with IWAY or Ranger spike wanted Aegis and Lingering Curse nerfed, so Anet listened to them.

They didn't add anything new to the game play.
Who really cares about HoS or Illusionary Wepaon. Foul Feast and PnH are still really poewrful. Random increased recharges on Castigation Signet and PwK and some weird PvE buffs.
It was a low quality update.

Anyone who wanted a balanced GvG meta wanted all those skills nerfed. It has nothing to do with HA, really. And again, stop thinking skill balances are decided by the players. Players make suggestions (most of which are ignored), and that's it.

Just because they addressed the issues doesn't mean they were fixed.
*LC is still a big problem with the aoe, recharge & cost
*WE for pvp was just smiter's booned because no one uses a warrior without an ias
*P&H needs a 3/4 cast.
*S&H, sure i wanted it nerfed but now it's useless. At least make it just a regular enchantment with a 1 second cast or something now.
*Melandru's & hunter's didn't need a complete rework to ruin them, they just needed the activation times removed.
*Also, aegis didn't deserve to be completely reworked. If anything just a lower duration or a higher recharge like 60 seconds. That way a majority of the time people aren't enchanted with it. If a rework was absolutely necessary I would just make it target ally and nearby allies are enchanted with the old aegis.
Besides these issues they still missed a few big issues. Mainly Bspike, Distortion eles, the bug with roj, completely striking out on rits/paras.
Oh and i completely forgot about the still OP [Visions of Regret].

Not a very good update but it is what was expected.
PnH, LC, and FF were nerfed slightly and not enough. The main problem with LC is the AoE. Make it so it effects target foe and up to 2 nearby foes. Limiting the AoE makes it balanced. The increase of the recharge on FF really doesn't hurt the skill that badly imo. It is still extremely effective and overpowered if it is used the way it should be. PnH having a 12 recharge is a good start but I still don't like the idea of one skill being able to remove hex stacks on a target. If I make a build that requires hex stacks to kill people, one skill shouldn't demolish that build. Most people won't care cause they hate hex stacks, but its just less variety the game can have, which is what those same people are saying is the problem with the game.
The Aegis change was completely unnecessary. Aegis may have been overpowered in the form it was, but making it useless except in buildwars against omega spike builds is pretty dumb. It is only usefull against pure spike gimmicks now, and even then the 30 seconds makes it arguably a waste of a skill slot even against omega spikes.
The WE nerf is terrible. I hate WE and will be the first to tell you it needed to be changed. But killing skills is a horrible option. It would have been still useable in the W/A spike build but they nerfed shadow fang so unless there is another tele without aftercast I guess that build is gone. Changing it so that the upkeep would be 20 seconds and it recharges every 30 would have been all that would need to be done. Then it would only outshine Shock axe in pure spike builds and not in every situation. Now it is just useless, which goes to show you anet doesn't know how to balance and just kills (although i already knew this so this wasn't a surprise at all).
Honestly, what needs to happen is the nerf to blood spike, a change in ladder k values, and make american AT times more playable. The skill balances have become so pathetic I don't even care what you do to them anymore. Just fix those three things and I'll be remotely happy and may consider playing this game again.

Darn it. I realized a few months ago that Monk hero's are hopeless in HM and so I switched to Rits, as you can lay down some spirits ahead of time and then your Rit can simply heal you. PwK is a great skill and one that Resto Rits need to be relevent and useful. >.< I guess I can still use Xandra or Razah but...I'll just bring a self-heal along just in case.
Honestly...I don't feel there are any updates that can "fix" underused and/or overnerfed classes. ANet doesn't have time to reinvent GW1. The best we can hope for is for ANet to become adept at doing intelligent balances and functionality changes.

Nearly 90% the of the nerfs on that list should've been PvP only, I don't see how Foul Feast, PnH, Cas Sig, PwK, all the ranger attacks, and the Ele spells are OP in PvE....and the WoH change just encourages more "HB ONLY!" teams in PvE
Meanwhile....stuff that will never have much of a use in PvE like WE, and SoH is made into PvP only nerfs....???

Im not gonna complain or whine about the nerfs n junk but, i think tampering this much with skills is just unnecessary. i mean Pnh really? And the fact that ppl always figure a way to make use of the nerfed skills just proves it.
