sounds like theres lots of well known balance problems that werent addressed, but why exactly
does that mean those in charge of the update dont play their own game, they are so out of touch with the situation it appears the balance update was determined by throwing darts at a board?

Apparently they have left out nerfing bloodspike alltogether , for those who didnt know the intention was to change the life stealing mechanic so prot would trigger - but 2 months down the line they try to rush the coding for it in one day and cant complete it in time.

The second most useful Rit spell gets nerfed again, 25s recharge for a party wide heal, but oh wait, look at what monks can do [heal party].
The [Aegis] change for PVP is a complete joke right? What good is a few seconds of immunity on a 30s recharge? Oh crap, teh spike target has Aegis on them, umm, lets either wait for 3 seconds or change target maybe?
Paragons already have a couple of unused anti spike skills - [Angelic Bond] and [angelic protection].
If no one is using these, what makes you think the new one will be used?
TBH, [Aegis] should have been left as it was, it was far far better before for PVP, and [divine intervention] should have recieved the new Aegis functionality.
But Anet phail at common sense.

The PvE nerf to Castigation is just retarded. Man, this update is really bugging me.
Nothing interesting, no updates to Paragons and Ritualists. Just garbage. Thanks Anet, really.

Yeah, is it that they don't know how to script the AI to flee from RoJ or what? Death ray should have been hit, the duration and AoE of LC should have been hit, the ele, ranger and warrior stuff is ok guess... Nerfing castigation sig doesn't hurt smiting builds that much, the only way they can buff IW so it means anything is if they make it a skill and not an enchant...
About the only thing is summon spirits works a little better to make the communing stuff last longer, but not much...
I wonder if you could use scorpion wire with the new heart of shadow, cast it, move back, jump away, then towards your foe....

GWG you dissapoint me, the update is a bit hit and miss - I can't see anything thats going to throw a spanner in the works of the way I play. Although I'm in two minds about the new aegis.

Ranger: Keep the Bleeding and Poison condition, make Bleeding not conditional and nerf the over all damage to be completely conditional...
WoH: WoH's use is still the same... just makes it worse for those that dont know how to use it properly...
WE: Goody... Revert... back to Shock Axe Evis... WTB Sword Buff...
PWK: Well... makes my Spilt Monk build better...
Ele: OMG?!?!?! Kappa Mesmer Nerfed??? WOW!
Smiters: NERFED!
Linger: Not surprised... but I still question the AoE
Aegis: functionality changed to, um... Shadow Form Target Other for 1...3 Seconds?
PnH: I think its still fine for use... just scaled...
Sin Defense: Interesting change... "Directly away"... so that could be bad since you could shadow step even further away from the monks if the target is behind you and you shadow step forward deeper behind the back line...
IW: Um... ok?
Outcome: Smite Balence w/ WE is dead... Kappa is dead... and Ranger's needs to find a new damage source. I see an increase to Gimmick, Degen Pressure and Splits... not good...

If the WoH on wiki is from before this update, looks like WoH's overall healing went down by 10-20 points.
