The Moss spider is pathetic like the the UW spider (yes got both) - when are we going to get a big spider like the cave ones in FoW? thats what I was hoping a moss spider would be like not something small and squashable.

I care about having one because I'd like a full menagerie. I'm two spiders away from completely filling it, though I never play beastmaster so they're not leveled. I think I'm just going to use the gold z-coins to get the spider. It shouldn't be too bad; I've already ground up a heavy pack and spiders cost a third of that.

Even if I got a moss spider egg today, I'd sell it. They're just too damn expensive.

Well I'm not too bothered since I don't use pets.

But I'll end up getting one, to fill the menagerie, just to know I have it. Collecting really. I don't have the Black Widow either, I need to get that too.

So yeah, it doesn't bother me that much really, it's there at the back of my mind, I know I'll have it one day for collecting purposes, but there's no rush.

I got it already. The only one left for me is the Black Widow.

Since the only parties forming are UWSC(even inside my guild), its a bit hard to find anyone willing to go down there. I have an assassin, but it's a bit hard to make solo builds as a secondary ranger.

I even asked for Spider Runs, but since UWSC are so fast, they would lose cash by spending time doing a Spider Run, so I found none even for 25k. After three days asking, I decided to wait until UWSC cease to exist.
So now I'm making voodoo ritual in my room to force ANet to nerf shadow form like I did to make the Norn blessings be changed into forms and ignore professions.

There is no law against depicting death of humans, there are more than 6000 million humans, it doesn't matter if you kill some of them, they are almost like cockroaches and more will pop. But if you kill ONE panda, it's something horrible, since there are so few of them. So they must be strict even in games.

I traded my black widow for a jingle bear so I had to get a new one for the menagerie. I considered the problem from exactly the same viewpoint as yours.

For all of 5 seconds. Then I realized I could go down all by myself and bring along a hero, flag it at the start, and teleport it next to a spider using the reaper that spawned it. Thirty minutes later, Acolyte Jin charmed one in the frozen wastes.

its the same reason the Panda was removed as a charmable pet, but should also count towards the tigers too

And as more species get into trouble, will they be changed as well? I hear polar bears aren't in a good spot lately. And we have 2 variants of those.

Never mind the fact that I ended up getting one of the moss spider eggs but honestly, I don't care either way. I play the game for the missions and to hang out with friends, not to play Pokemon. I honestly could care less if I got every single pet in the game.

To be honest, what's the point of getting every single pet in the game? It doesn't come with anything special. It doesn't give you an additional evolution of "ultra dire" which will give you a pet that deals 50% more damage than a dire or something like that. There's no title attached. It's just another HoM that is just there to show off to your guild members and friends that doesn't have some sort of prestegious title tagged on to your name. Maybe if there was some sort of title attached or an insentive (I don't PvP often enough for it to matter so there's no reason for me to really care) , I'd consider going for it.

Well, a lot of us have done the missions and explored and earned titles. For many, like me, the Lich/Shiro/Abaddon are gone and the dwarves have been royally screwed, and the only incentive to keep going is completion. God title, full HOM, all elite armor sets, full menagerie. No, of course it doesn't add to the gameplay. But it's there, and it's done, and it's something we accomplished.

Titles are just visual representations of accomplishments.

Before Factions, before titles were ever introduced into the game, I had my warrior doing mission and bonus for every single mission. I spent a considerable amount of time on some missions, over and over trying to get the bonus (most of the time, with just henchies, and a W/R with a pretty crummy skill bar now that I look back). I don't pursue titles to display them. For the most part I don't pursue titles. But the ones I do work on, I'm doing it because I enjoy it.

Obviously your goals in game may be different, just trying to explain my stance on it.

I tried for a whole day to buy an egg just because of wanting to fill up the z zoo, didn't manage to so I just decided to wait until august to buy one again. I'm the type of person who does it for looks, even if crabs became able to hit stronger I'd use a Black Moa just for the looks. Don't see anything wrong with the people who would choose the crab though.
