June update = meaningless changes, unrequested nerfs and more wastes of the r&d budget. In other words, changes made that were easy to do, so the higher ups don't fire them, because they are not quite sure what changed and why. It's called "if you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with BS". I'm renewing my sub with Lotro, and going back.. Later yall!

The next skill update:
RoJ will be left alone
SF will be left alone
A few rarely used PvE, Ranger, and Necro skills will get a minor change and still rarely be used
Mesmer and Ele skill changes since each uses the others' skills better than their own
A Random Assassin nerf (not SF)
Paragons and Rits will be ignored
People will complain about how small the update was

All DoTAoe in PvE: now slows afflicted targets by 66%-90%, depending on how crappy the spell is. Chaos storm/Fire storm = 90% Then change ROJ AI.
Revert PwK/other unnecessary rit nerfs for PvE, buff spawning power.
Revert unnecessary ranger nerfs for PvE
Revert unnecessary mesmer nerfs for PvE, buff mesmer skills that are actually useful for PvE.
Leave SF, worry about all the other underpowered sin skills first.
Elementalist buff that would be meaningful in HM PvE (Energy Storage (PvE): for each rank of energy storage all of your elemental spells has 2% extra armor penetration.)
Buff Paragon non-spear skills.
........hmmm, a bit too hopeful.

What I'd like to see:
RoJ: Now causes AI to scatter, just like any other AoE skill.
CoP: Changed from a spell to a shout. (That would gimp Cryers a bit without nerfing it to uselessness. )
SF: No point in talking about this one, the dead horse has been beaten.

You can kill ANYTHING with fire! Ask the Fire Titans and the Destroyers I slew with Fire Magic just to prove nothing can resist fire.
Destroyers may not burn, but they sure crack and break apart when you apply more hot than they can take. And female elementalists are VERY hot!
I just Vanquished an area with some destroyers. They were the easiest part. Ferothraxi were the worse one.

Sorry, that's now how it works. Anet do not work for you. They buff/nerf based on their own observations of the meta and what they feel needs changing. They do not simply read gwguru and just nerf/buff according to popular demand.
This is what happens when a company makes an effort to be in touch with the community. The community gets greedy and starts demanding to have a direct involvement in the balancing of the game. SORRY KIDS THIS IS THEIR GAME NOT YOURS!

RoJ now causes knockdown and 5e cost/ 1s cast / 10s recharge
plox
TBH
I bet they will just say "We are working very hard to test this skill update and we are busy working on gw2. The update will be released in july."
If they told the truth it would look more like this...
"We used all the income from the makeovers to help us pay for our WoW monthly subscriptions. We haven't even thought about the skill update and will probably not think about it until Izzy gets level 70 on his Mage."
@ Back Then
They pretty much do work for us. We pay them, they make us a game we enjoy. They should nerf/buff on popular demand if they want to keep us happy. Of course not the ridiculous request like make fire storm do 9000 damage.

Most developers look for community input when trying to figure out how to balance or change something. And they also look to the community if something needs changing in the first place. You seem to worship the team like theyre gods and should never be questioned.

I got around to my skill hunter trek this month, and my GOD what a bunch of absolutely wasted elites. Surely we can buff an elite or two every month to make some of them a tad more worthwhile...

Ray of Judgment 10E 2CT 20R
Elite Spell. Invoke a Ray of Judgment at target foe's location. For 5 seconds Target foe and adjacent foes take
1...9...12 holy damage each second, nearby foes 1...9...12 light damage each second, and foes in the area
1...9...12 fire damage each second and begin Burning for 1...3...3 seconds.
Kinda functions the way Shockwave does only the damage is over time and is split into three seperate damage types, holy (armor ignoring), light and fire (non-armor ignoring).
At 15 smiting prayers: 180 total damage to adjacent foes with 60AL, 120 damage to nearby foes with 60 AL, 60 damage to nearby foes with 60 AL. They all suffer from burning as well.
Which I think is better being that currently at 15 smiting prayers the elite does 225 armor ignoring damage. This change would split the damage into smaller chunks but to make up for it, it will damage a much wider area. Numbers would obviously have to be played with. Just an idea though.

Light damage no longer exists.
I would just decrease the damage, make it affect nearby enemies in the PvE version (keep it adjacent or make it single foe in PvP) and fix the monster AI to scatter when hit by this.

Word of Healing:
Elite Spell. Heal target ally for 5...61...80 Health. Heal for an additional 20...88...105 Health if that ally is below 50% Health.
