i only reported bots,leechers,gold sellers,account sellers,griefers and a few peeps that had a more dirty mouth then togo's spare pants.

1-2 people for not paying for runs (only if I have screenshots though)
Several people for being genuinely filthy in local
Odd person for offensive character names (that weren't funny)
Bots if I'm fast enough

I've only ever reported Bots and leechers. Nothing else annoys me enough to make me bothered about anything else.

In the past I've reported gold sellers, obvious bots (the Mo/Me's called Askskjjdjfhha Dsjfjjhfah etc in huge conga lines following set patterns around outposts and getting stuck on the exit signpost), leechers in AB, people involved in racist insult exchanges when arguing about pointless crap in cities, people talking in graphic detail about the sex acts they'd like to perform on sundry players and NPCs, people impersonating ANet employees, people with blatantly offensive names, people spamming trade in local, scammers... yeah you name it I've reported it. Go me.

Nowadays I can't be bothered. If your parents didn't teach you how to behave, I'm not wasting my time trying to educate you, on top of which I refuse to use a function that can be abused to get someone autobanned without human investigation. I'd rather just play the game and have fun.

I've /report'ed a friend twice within 30min for the fun of it... and he got a 72h ban

1 guy for scamming.
2 or 3 guys for inappropriate name.
an uncountable number for leeching or botting in pvp. (and i don't mean just using the ingame /report function. before that i used to screenshot and send to support)

I was playing some BYOB GvG. There was an elitist PvP'er there, he requested that i run heals, as the other monk was prot.
During the game, he decides to leeroy into the opposing team, no word on vent. He dies. He then says "learn 2 prot nubzor" (note he asked me to go heal, and guardian would not have saved his ass).
Following the match he spewed abuse at me, accusing me of having as many things as he could find by google searching "mental illness" and "retardation".
He got a 72hr ban.
After the ban he figures it was me (all the abuse was in private). Starts his google searches again. Another ban, i belive it was longer this time, unsure of exact amount.

for leachers, i send to support, /report doesnt do anything. I make sure i have multiple screenshots (to prove its not a slow loader/one off/"Oh, crap, i actualy got a match")

I've reported a few names which were offensive in Dutch, but obviously got passed the filter during name creation. Names that would get you a ban on the spot if made in English.

One of those people even made a thread about his name getting banned on Guru.

I only report people who:
- try to scam me (with screenshots if needed)
- try to sell/buy GW accounts in the GToB
- have really offensive names (political or racist. I can stand a little clever pottymouth in names)
- start swearing at me after I point out they're spamming in the wrong channel, or doing something else that's considered rude.
- start swearing for no reason at all.

But all in all, that's not a whole lot fortunately. I rarely really have to report someone. But then I play with my alliance mostly.

Like many others here, gold sellers,account buyers,Traders in local chat(after a kind "use the ******* trade chat"),
and the countless amounts of kids who open their crap-traps spewing idiotic phrases that make the average newbie go "wtf?".

Oh and not to forget YaRR officers when they mass into one area and spam "YaRR wants you!"....>>

im not a Report W***e so im using only when it interfirese with game play...\

Bots-The well known Bots in JQ and such nothing special

Leechers...very very few time.. maybe 4-5 times throughout entire report system life

Gold seller,Accaunt seller- onl;y if i see them mor ethen 3 times which is rarely

Rude language... iF you are not MATURE enaugh to ignore them then i should report YOU

Offensive names- Same as above+ No Name is Offensive it might mena somehtgin else.. otherwise id report YOU for Reporting silly things

Scamming-no need to report you made a trade that made you less rich its a game (never scammed...never got scammed)

Yeah.....so i reported very litle.....never unjust reports either

i've reported people for scamming me at the end of runs.
I've reported morons who don't know how to act in public.
I've reported kids who spam-draw on the map with everyone's favorite male appendix.
I've reported spam in chat in partys, too.

But that's about it. None of which got perma bans as far as I know.

As long as no one mentions any names everything will be fine.

I report bots and leechers in JQ, FA, AB, etc.

Beyond that, I don't really care. People can argue with me, say what they want, be as loud or obnoxious as they please. I enjoy a good fight and I get an even better laugh out of it 99% of the time. The other 1% of the time I can shut off chat, hit ignore, or just go elsewhere because I'm usually doing something anyway. It doesn't bother me a bit.

i only report those people trying to buy accounts. its not for the report more of the challenge to see if i can get it off fast enough gotten 5 so far out of maybe 40 ive seen

I've reported people but only very rarely. Mostly it's for bad language, especially at Balthazar's Temple, but it takes more than an occassional f-bomb to set me off. You have to really be rude/racist/nasty to get my attention. I mean, you wouldn't stand on a street corner and yell rude/nasty/racists comments in public (I guess you would if you had a mental illness), so don't do it in local/public chat... it's just a complete lack of manners and it truly puts the guilty party in a poor light. Bad language doesn't make people look cool, it makes them look moronic and uneducated. Funny how people lose their manners when they're anonymous.

P.S. I REALLY want to report leechers in AB but I'm afraid to.

I report all the time and NEVER get hexed. Ever since the system was upgraded I almost feel like the game keeps a record of how many successful people you report and then doesn't' penalize you after if you get less than 1/3. Even with less than 1/3 I don't get hexed, but I only do report real leechers/bots.

some guy in ra once.
He was running an mm with dark bond. So i just said Minion masters dont work too well in pvp because of the lack of available corpses and them dying after every round.
I then got Pm'ed for about 10 minutes telling me to shut the f--k up because he is a well respected man who owns his own accounancy and that i need to stop cumming in a sock and need to hang myself and rid the world of me.
^ MY personal favourite.

Again Ra our whole team reported one warrior 3 times each in one game
first for verbal abuse as he was racist throughout to our team. Then for spamming as he shouts ni---s non stop on team chat. Then just for fun we did verbal abuse again.

If whoever reported Crystal story for verbal abuse reads this. That was some funny s-it

I usually don't report people unless they violently start to insult me/harass me with whispers. And when I do report people, I do it via the GW website, which actually gets people banned.
