I waited a bit to check points but just did now and on 5 accounts I got stuff all.
I know i did the predictions before they had website troubles.
I know there free and all that but if it's there and built into the game as a feature it should work.
Grrrrrrrrr

Tell that to the money they're making
But as a fellow mesmer, I'll shine some light.
You don't even NEED CoP.
Sure, CoP is an extra bit of awesome damage. But what about fragility? Ineptude? Wandering eye? Clumsiness? And all those other amazing skills of the illusion line?

Loved the update, nice changes in the PvE area of the game! Also loved the PvP nerfs done to the necro. Only thing now would be one week where we get tourney points without having to wait weeks. . . guess it's time to contact support about not getting my points. . .

I agree. If anything, COP was a reason to go /me more than me/ in the first place.

Checked all my accounts and no points on any of them >_<
Please don't tell me I have to submit a support ticket for each of them, seriously... Somehow I have a hard time believing they will look at each and every support ticket and the accounts associated with them and distribute the points correctly that way, because that could take months seeing how many people are having issues.
I'd like to see a fix for this without tons of people having to submit a ticket...

So they should have changed it to act like There's Nothing to Fear, being better depending on primary attributes, making it basically mandatory for it to be used by its primary class. Not just turn it into shite.

Well, I tried to vote for this months tournament early so I don't forget last minute, and it says it's closed. Guessing they're fixing something, unless this always happens during distribution.

Now it's back to being the Mesmers. VoR has essentially been Smiter's Booned except for very specific builds (45 damage on skill activation for 10 seconds out of every 20 is NOT worth bringing an elite slot for. There are cheaper cover hexes out there...) - in fact, VoR is possibly now most useful on a Mesmer secondary. Not looking forward to the first Zquest to involve Shiro if it happens before Mesmers get some compensation... especially given the Mesmer Celestial skill isn't one of the better ones...
The CoP nerf is... hrrrmn. It needed a nerf, and the one it got isn't necessarily the one I would have chosen, but it's along the right lines - it's still useful for a single Mesmer (in fact, it possibly does more damage total if you don't hit the degen cap) as long as said Mesmer's other skills aren't degen-based, but it's considerably less useful en masse.
I think it's still possible to make an effective Mesmer - neither CoP or VoR were really the sharp ends of my builds anyway - but a) Mesmers will be even more about AP+AE-based abuse of PvE skills than actual mesmering and b) it's probably going to be harder to convince PUGs that you're useful. And so close to getting my Guardian titles, too.
The buff to Spawning Power is a little... indirect. The modification to the duration of weapon spells probably won't make as much difference as ANet is possibly hoping, as the really popular ones are the ones that don't last their full duration anyway. Still, the big buffs to spirits make spirits, and by extension Spawning Power, that much more valuable.
I wonder if they're perhaps too fast to go up now, however. The Glacial Griffon may now well prove to be all but impossible, although the longbow degen technique will probably still work... at the cost of having to buy those skills.
So, initial responses to the update:
PvE Ritualists and Paragons get much-needed shots in the arm.
PvE Mesmers get a kick in the teeth without compensation
Awakened Cavaliers are going to be silly... (Another reason to be glad of getting some Desolation vanqs in on the weekend, I suppose.)

As a mesmer main, all I can say is...
Thank Jesus it's toned down now. <3 you Anet. It's only half as abusable in a group. Save Yourselves and Shadow Form next please. Even Ray of Judgment got fixed!
Would still love to see Mind Blast take a hit back to at least 3r, but I can take it in chunks if I have to.

Its always exciting when they make a huge skill update. However some thoughts:
PS: too little too late
signet of creation: this skill was buffed and made obsolete in the same update.
spirit siphon: yep non-elite OoS
we shall return: what was wrong with the original functionality?
overall this massive pvp-pve split isnt going to bode well in the long run. A pve rit or goon wont be able to set foot in RA i dont think.

PvE paragon changes are going to make the Awakened Cavalier very annoying in Hard Mode as they'll now have two resses on their bars, one of which is an instant cast the other recharging in five seconds. Considering you can fight two of them at once it's an image I don't want to think about. However their elite no longer works for what that's worth.
I think the short form of "Find Their Weakness!" should read "For 5...20 seconds target ally gains Eviscerate on their next attack.". While it's nice to see "Go For The Eyes!" back to its spam happy form, and even buffed from that version, the lack of revisions to the Motivation line is concerning. It's like they just looked at Command and Leadership and made a few changes. I don't see much of a reason to run Motivation over Command considering both the offensive and defensive aspects of Command were significantly improved.

Very nice update, but this morning I try HM in the desert and the undead horde are just UN-dead.
They use signet of return like there is no tomorrow, but it is HM so I'll try to figure something out.
PS what about Dervish? will we see Dervish update next? they are like that guy that sit in the middle class that nobody notice them, they aren't bad just blah...

wow...
Signets of Spirits + armor of unfeeling + spirit siphon = nice combo
+
Ancestor's Rage + Spirit Rift + Essence Strike (for direct damage skills)
+
Bloodsong + Destruction (for extra artillery)
= unlimited energy spamming artillery rit with nuking capabilities
Gotta love that
(Works like a charm on heroes too btw, Razah says thank you Anet)
