I've talked to a lot of people, and most of them received 80 rp's from predictions...I dunno if this is coincidence or maybe some faulty point distribution?

What the hell happened to "a more sparing/careful" approach to pvp/e splits? Soon we're going to have seperate versions for every single skill in the game. This is the biggest bullshit ever, just remove pvp now because no-one new is ever going to bother getting into it when half their skills turn to crap. Some of them don't even need a split.... like does PvE really care if SH is 15e? And woudln't PvP be better off with a funny niche skill that could screw touch rangers?
Also, palm strike? It was already fading out of HA, never used in "real" GvG or good TA teams, what the hell?
And "We Shall Return" is the most ridiculous rez ever. I don't get why they thought para needed all this stuff and then they leave SY completely untouched. And in the desolation you're going to need frozen soil or you lose basically, except junundu don't have frozen soil.
The only thing I really liked about this update was the spawning power/weapon adjustments, but there is still a need for useable spawning power skills if they ever want people to invest in it. That and finally fixing a ton of AI issues.

...They buffed Ritualists? And Paragons? They made spirit spamming viable? They nerfed CoP? They nerfed secondary rits?
O_O
HOLY SHIT!!!!
Anet, my faith in you is restored. I don't care that some of this could potentially end up needing to be reverted, I don't care that there are some issues I still wish you'd resolve (mainly SF and ER). Right now the only thing I care about is that you finally delivered a REAL update. THIS is what we like. I am very, very happy with this. Thank you very much.

I received 55 XTH points, which i assume is correct. My predictions are always random, and I never actually check the final rankings.

Lol at Cryway.
RoJ was admittedly overpowered, but I enjoyed NPCs standing in it. XD

And yet when Martin said guru isn't "the community" last week, everybody was freaking out. Now, they are listening too much to the guru minority?
It's not that A.net is listening to the minority, its that they are making hard decisions. If there was a bug that let you get 100 ecto if you clicked on a merchant in a certain town in a certain district during a full moon, then of course you'd be hesistant to want it fixed. You'd say it was a "feature" or an easter egg or something that is rewarding you for your hard work in finding such a small thing. But its not. It is something that is detrimental to the economy and harmful to the rest of the community who isn't exploiting that.
Balancing isn't about making you happy. It's about making the tough decisions that will be best for everybody. I don't like not being able to farming festival event items like crazy with keg farming. But I know that ultimately, removing it is fair to those who don't do it so that people who still do only group play aren't grossly disadvantaged. Farmers can still get perks, but not so much that all other forms of playing the game aren't worth the time and effort. If you want to play a grindish Korean style MMO, go play Aion or Lineage II.

My main received 5 points (lol) and my two alts are being told they need to go make their predictions, which they did at the same time as my main. Fail Anet, fail.

Yes, and PvE is already easy enough that everyone and their blind aunt (no offence intended) can play it without trying at all. I'm not saying this is bad, but who cares if there better? its still not like anyones going to take a spirit rit in UWSC. If the point of the update was to give viable options why keep the same old build the same old way? Unless some new grand meta can be made with para skills, I can not see this changing the lives of many die-hard farmers.
Though on a secondary note, the AI changes were a welcome addition.

Here's my synopsis
Spawning power could still use a slight buff, although the huge spirit buff pans it out.
Find their weakness if used right is way too deadly.
Spirit Siphon is a non elite OoS.
SoS Spirits don't correspond correctly with other spirits, (Attack Off Queue) And if used with boon of creation is way too ubber E management, needs increased charge
We Shall Return is a little too nice, even though it makes some PvE Areas suck.
Need new PvE Meta since RoJ and CoP aren't the bomb now.

7 accounts in this house. (not all mine) only 1 of those 7 got the points. Does this mean we have to send in 6 separate support tickets?? This could take a while....
Update was good, but the points.....
