Good guilds, these days?
I won't say Dark Alley. These guys have been favorite to win for so long without winning it's absurd. Ensign, you disappoint me. Your lineup has more stars than a constellation, and yet you choke more often than a hooker with a severe gag reflex. I'm not even taking disconnects as an excuse, in my mind, your connection severs itself in rampant fear of how you are going to lose.
EvIL, WM, etc? Good guilds. Superb guilds. Would they do well today? Impossible to tell - their old styles would be crushed, so who knows how they would adapt? It doesn't matter, they aren't good guilds now because they don't play Guild Wars.
Rebel Rising? Eh, why not. Despite playing a game of Guild Wars involving more blocks than a Lego battleship and relying on spikes to kill more than Sauron's tower does for decor, they do consistently well, and hold their own tournament, which is a big plus.
Others? Don't know or care, throw darts at the ladder I guess.

Avarre just won this thread.
[rawr] for best guild. Although many may question their style of play, they have won 5 gold capes and technically a platinum cape. Holding tournaments for the GW community is a big plus too.

Wow... did you just put [cow] of all things next to WM and EviL?? Do you even understand why those guilds are considered so good and how big the difference is between them and cow? Sure, cow were good, but they're not even in the same ballpark.
You might as well say
1. The Last Pride
2. War Machine
3. We Own Cavalon [any]
Not much difference between those lists.

Eh it's all personal really. If I were to make a list based on all time favs, I wouldn't even list Last Pride as Wm was much more entertaining to watch. Te, cow, kgyu all pretty much played high offensive builds and had that awe factor.

1. Obsidian Flame, because they invented sinway
2. Ascalon's Chosen, because they didn't turn tail and flee when the Charr came knocking
3. The Shining Blade, because Saidra has the best female ranger armor in the game

[KISS] has nearly 1800+ members, so I think we do pretty well in the best guilds part - Almost anywhere I go I see people with our tag.
I get whispers from Random people asking for invites, can any of you claim you get that :P?

Finnish guys are always crazy, and I've known some prime specimens in my time. Besides, eF took on hexes and won. That was pretty cool.
I think, though, once you start getting a bit good at the game it doesn't really matter if you're light miles in front of everyone else-to the others you're in front and that's all that matters.
