Thinking of deleting two...
I have three characters and almost 50k in gold, I dont play the assasin that much or the dervish except for when it comes to event weekends then i play all three to rack in the cash. i was thinking of getting rid of the assasin and the dervish and just sticking with the warrior since she is the furthest in the prof story line and isnt all over the place like the other two (sure i went to EOTN but that was just to get two heros to help with some missions.)
there are some pros and cons to this and wanted you guys to wiegh in, not make the descion but give me some ideas...
pros:
i can focus on one character
I can complete a story line for once in two years that i have been playing
cons:
I dont bring in as much gold on special event weekends...
Thats really all i an think of...
LOL
so what are your oppinions?

Why delete them, they will still get b-day presents, they can still function as mules. Just concentrate on one character.

I literally just deleted 5 PvE characters in favor of PvP characters simply because I never plan on playing through the storyline on those characters, and am tired of rerolling constantly for competitive PvP.
If you don't really like playing a profession in PvE, then there is little reason to keep that character around. Farming has its own merits, but it sounds like you prefer questing to farming during Festivals. With this in mind, you need to be thinking about the individual quests involved; for example, The Strength of Snow and Straight to the Heart quests during Wintersday are decent, but both repeatable. This means with only one character that you can do this indefinitely while the festival is still up.
Do what is fun.

I never delete characters, because:
They are extra storage.
Birthday gifts.
You might want to play them again years from now.
You only really need one PvP slot (I don't have any, because I don't PvP)

I really dont see the point of deleting characters if you have other free slots... so you have 3 PvE chars, and you have at least 6 char slots, or 8, I dont know... Just ignore the 2 other char...and everything above...

Epic truth. Even my Warrior would have been remade a couple of times if it hadn't been for the sheer awesomeness that is the Primeval helmet.

I have only deleted 1 PvE character, ever (though I've cycled through tons of PvP characters, as they were just placeholders for me to get some practice with a class before running it in PvE), and that was a level 1 Ranger who hadn't yet done the tutorial, because she was a crossover character I've had for years and I realized that, as a Jedi, it would make more sense for her to be a Monk.
Don't delete characters just so you can focus on one, for the reasons stated above. It's not like they'll keel over and die if you leave them alone, so just focus on one character at a time, get him through the game, go on to another one. I have tons of characters, including 3 lowbies I haven't played in a while and an ele I largely ignore. But I'm not going to delete them, because while I may be working on one chara now (my ranger), I know that someday I'll get back to them (and the ele is good for AB), once I'm done with this character. Also, they are my babies and my maternal instinct won't let me... >.<
So yeah. Keep your characters. They might come in handy some day.

I agree. Finish all campaigns with the warrior, then repeat with the other two guys.

It makes sense to focus on one character. It doesn't make sense to delete chars that aren't going to be replaced by a more favored proffession.
Even if you don't plan to play the other chars they still ( as already mentioned) get Bday presents and can be a huge benifit on special weekends to farm goodies that can be sold if you need gold or used to benifit your main character.

I got one to lvl 7 and deleted it, I couldn't stand it it's so cheap.
Sins can't pressure and they rely on their chains to perform actions most classes have to work much harder for.
It really is easy mode.

Dont delete it. You will definatley regret it and end up making the same character over again in the future anyway...I know i did that at least twice, haha.

I'm not sure you can legitimately call anything "easy mode" until you've, I dunno, gotten it off of newb island...

Yeah, because Factions tutorial is pretty difficult without a sin.

Don't delete them.
I once deleted an elementalist because I realized after playing him for a bit I spelled his name wrong. I had intended on remaking him, but it totally killed my momentum with the character and I never did. A shame really, I was having a lot of fun. Probably the silliest thing I've done in GW, especially now that I could have just payed to rename him - and would have, too.
