I think they are making the same mistake again, Guild Wars is an incredible game, easily the best in its genre but you won't see any reviews or promotions since the publisher doesn't seem to know what marketing is.

Even people living in mud huts in poland know what WoW is, they've spent a lot of money on marketing but it's paid off big time.

Aion is similar, the only reason i know the game exists is word of mouth, these games will sell to the mainstream but just arent being given the chance.

Unless they get some screenshots and playtests in magazines the game will be forgotten before its released, the only people who actually care about GWII are the people reading the GW fan forums, people reading the Riverside Inn may get moist at the revelation of "world pvp!!!" or "new playable races!?!?" but nobody else cares.

some other users already figured out that the lines below "Guild Wars 2 (gamescom-Trailer)" are for ratings only. the trailer is suitable for all ages and it was proved ~6 days ago.

my "erm, what?" phrase was just a reaction to this surprise.

i am getting really excited now, 'cause i'll meet martin and everyone else in cologne and have something to talk about.

Ugh, what's is it up with the up and downs of excitment. First we hear there is a GW2 trailer (up), then we hear Jeff Strain leaves NCWest (down), then we here it isn't effecting GW2 (up) then we hear the trailer might not even exists?!? (down).

It could be they just want it a surprise, and asked USK to remove the post.

The good news: In a couple of weeks we'll know for sure.

And then comes PAX.

If there's no trailer or new info by PAX, then I would start worrying.

It seems more like them trying to quickly cover it up. Anet still dont seem to understand that if theres something to do with GW2 hidden somewere one player will find it no matter what.

- I personally told you there will be information before the end of the year, so did Regina.

- Mike O'Brien, Head of ArenaNet, told you that you will hear something "very soon".

We know that you are craving for information. Just hang in there a little bit longer
