Wonderful news all around. <3 <3
Good riddance TA and HB, they were broken beyond repair with gimmicks and the same people over and over again. Not fun, not popular enough, unappealing to break into.
Xunlai House, what can I say, it was good free money while it lasted. If it goes away, it won't be a big issue anyway.
Sealed Deck will rock! Fixing synching in RA will rock as well.
Last but not least, PvP skin unlocks are good news for us who don't like to PvP on PvE chars.
THANKS!

I hope that won't be a problem.

Woops my bad. Anyhow sealed deck seems a lot like dice rolling to me: anyone getting power creeps like WoH will have a huge advantage in 4v4, because let's admit it, 4v4 is mostly about abusing skills.

Each team in a match will get an identical deck, how they distribute it will determine how the match is played. I think it's a much more interesting concept than having a set of practiced, perfected builds that can overwhelm all comers which seems to be the state of most gimmick based pvp that is currently happening.

i like the idea of getting RA and HB fixed..... but what about the HB title! i mean some people worked really hard to try to max it or something and now with this update they wont be able to max it ever.....
and in exchange they get a new title, which just means they have to start over again to get a maxed title.

Thank you for all the info Linsey! ^_^
I'm very excited about the coming changes.
I sure hope the Xunlai Tournament House will be back (crossing fingers and toes for the testing to go smooth), because I love observer mode and make predictions based on research. That's what got me into PvP in the first place (XTH did).
I always used my zkeys, I like hoping that something good will drop for me, even though it hasn't, yet. And if I would decide to sell my zkeys, then it's about time to advance pay to get titles such as sweet tooth, party animal, wisdom, etc. With all the info about GW2 being released, I realized I really want to continue filling my HoM, but I need so much money for those titles, elite armors, minipets, destroyer or torment weapons, etc.
With the 40k I have at any one time usually, filling my HoM with those things seems like a pipe dream. I could never make so much money by playing normal gameplay (I don't do UWSC or any other gimmick farm things... Only thing I did was kegging... I miss it so much) to be able to pay for all those things I really really want. SO yeah... selling Zkeys would help me out a lot, and I wouldn't get frustrated when after a month of playing normal gameplay, I still can't afford an elite armor.
New festival quests/items/etc would be absolutely fantastic! ^_^
Keep the quest in Wintersday where you could possibly get a Mini Polar Bear... I still haven't gotten one of them cuties after almost a 1000 runs, and I'm not giving up!
So thank you again for being more open about projects and possible changes, it really makes me look forward to checking out new content when they go live.
Hooooooray for Anet!!

TA used to be my favorite PvP arena back in Prophecies (guild didn't GvG). It was full of fun creative builds, and it had more of a relaxed approach while still requiring skill.
Ever since Gladiator title, it attracted a bunch of grinders who will use any boring cookie cutter gimmick builds for a decade just to get the points. It degraded real fast and became anything but fun. So I am not sad to see it go because I haven't played it for a long time.
HB... rolling was fun lol. Aside of that, horrible. Sealed deck is fun at least.

am i the only one who thinks sealed deck arent gonna bring that much change(or maybe i dont understand the concept)
bad players will get owned even harder, good players won't even come across their anti builds.. so after a while bad players will stop playing, because its al about skill now, no skill advantage what so ever the good teams will farm the heck out of everyone
my point is that the matches wont future gimmicky builds, but the better players will still breeze trough the matches because only a better team can counter them

Sealed Deck is like costume brawl in that it's something very casual that PvE focused players can play but it's something interesting enough that PvP focused players played too. Sealed Deck is very similar, it's a very casual game type that I'm expecting will draw in a lot of PvE players, especially since a part of Sealed Deck is being creative with the "cards you are dealt" so to speak, but lots of PvP players love the idea too and find it interesting because no two matches are really the same.

I'm not a PVP er but HB is the only thing in the game i never played i think...so i'll just try it one time before it will be terminated ^_^
I have no hurry about new updates because actually i'm working to take my principal PvE pg growing..and growing and growing...
My hope is just about the little XTH thing...just for the gold identification title...but I will not be disappointed if the stress test goes wrong and we ahve to say "Kun Shao...see you at GW2".

Sealed deck sounds like it might be fun. As someone who doesn't enjoy the 'competitive' (I.E. absolutely abominable) spirit in the PvP arenas, having the sealed deck system might be a little easier to move into.
However, the thing is that I never PvP, except for faction farming with my guild in FA, and Alliance battles a while back. And that's not even really PvP.
I have to say, the only exciting thing I really see in that update is that there is at least the inkling of hope for more content added to Halloween. And also that in the future us PvE players will get an update that has as much content as this adds for PvPers.

If anet manage to pull this off then wow, very nice looking update!
I know plenty of players that will really miss Team Arena's though, does it really need to be deleted? I can understand HB but don't see it with TA quite so much.
SEALED DECK.

Looking forward to try this Sealed Deck thing
I also like the idea of community feedback on skill updates, but I don't like the "every other month" bit. I'm hoping you guys will put up big skill lists. Ofcourse you probably cannot look into each skill, but with this community feedback idea, you could also put up a couple of skills and say: "Hell we want these changed, but we havn't really looked at them yet. Community, fix em for us."
Anyway I hope you guys will do a good job

I'm surprised how many people have NO idea what Sealed Deck is.
I mean come on, they had a Sealed Deck tourney at PAX...
