25-30 minutes for a good group is a lot better than 15.
There's nothing wrong with Obsidian Flesh. There never was. The introduction of Glyph of Swiftness broke OF. Letting recharge buffs stack to 50% broke SF. SF was fine when it was barely maintainable on a class combination (A/Me) that could not effectively dish out damage. It stopped being fine when it became possible for the A/E and E/A combination to maintain it easily while having the energy and skills on the bar to kill things quickly. The PvE skills don't help things, but they aren't the core issue.
The UW clear team doesn't need to be balanced. Were Deep teams balanced? Not really. 3x W, 4x E, 2x N, 3x Mo doesn't seem very balanced to me. Relative speed is the issue, not the degeneracy of the team build. The problem with SF is that it's twice as efficient as anything else at clearing UW. If an OF team can do it in 30 and a fairly balanced team that splits up can do it in 40-45, that's not such a big deal.
