Could someone make a mod that makes all heroes have Primeval armor? I would try it myself but I don't think I would manage. Thanks very much.

And pictures for the Heroes of the World would be nice It sounds very nice.

EDIT: Pity Thanks anyway. I'll have to try it out myself and do them slowely one by one

<_<u you ask too much reskining one character/armor takes a ton of testing repainting testing repainting and so on... now on 25 heroes

Sure... if you can meet me in game and show me every single primeval armor so I can rip the images. Then swapping them with the base armor images should be easy.

Also, I was going through textures in Tahnnakai Temple, and found this

Couldnt figure out what it was on though

I already had The Gimp
It handles pretty much everything BUT DDS files.

You can get a plugin for it to open DDS files

I don't believe it would be possible. Primeval armor uses a different mesh (or model), and so even if you did just cut/paste the skins, they wouldn't "fit" the hero's current armor model.

Until someone figures out how to extract and redirect to the models... mmmm.... Well, you know.

i was wondering....

if u edit the "skin" texture of your character, u have to remove the body armor part and put it back after EACH loading during the game to keep the mods visible

any clue to avoid this?

I suspect this is a directx issue. Texmod intercepts calls to dx9 and vista is dx10.

Texmod works just fine on DirectX10.

Guild Wars doesn't use DirectX 10 (DirectX 10 isn't backwards compatible). It would run through DirectX 9L on Vista.

so DX9L is already in vista, and i don't need to get it myself, right? my gfx card is a geforce 8400M GS, so it supports DX10.

anyways, maybe it will work if i redo all the texture mods myself, since the mods i'm trying to use was done on my old computer (which was running win2k).

Newbie here, I'm having trouble selecting areas to mod, I'm following the wiki guide but when pressing the + or the - key on the num pad it simply puts it in the password area, I tried logging in and selecting stuff there but no go >.>

Also were should I put my output folder, does it matter?

Has anyone made a cartography mod for GW:EN yet. I have used the other three map mods to get my Legendary Cartographer, so thanks to those of you that made that possible.

I am hoping to max out the points in the Master of the North title track. I see wiki has listed the max available through cartography as 101 points.
