I don't have any pictures, but I've dowloaded this and it looks nice. Mostly the changes are subtle and refining.

DirectX 10 only exists on Vista. It's Microsoft's way of getting gamers to upgrade.

Question is, does your assassin have a base armor that would have the same shape as a Canthan Peasant's clothing? I can't think of anything that would work for that...
Nor can I think of any headgear that could look like a straw hat, either. :P

For those of you having issues running these mods:
- If you are using an onboard video card, you more than likely will not be able to use these mods.
- If you can't run GW higher than the lowest graphic settings, you more than likely will not be able to use these mods.
- If you run GW using DirectX 8, you will not be able to use these mods.
Most of the people having issues, I feel safe in saying that their video cards do not fully support DX9. DirectX 9 is required to run TexMod. Just because it is installed, doesn't mean your card supports it.

Hm. No I just started my assassin, so he has basic armor from the shing jea monastery.
This is one tough cookie. I'm going to get the textures for the face/clothing for both the peasant and my assassin.
I'll edit this when I'm done.

I'm pleased to announce the second installment in Chthon's components.
You can find the first installment (along with CookieMonsterSkill and BlargSkill) here.
As before, everything is available as single files, so you can mix and match just the parts you like with each other or with other mods. And the .DDS files are available so you can include them in your own .TPFs and/or further mod them.
- Adrenaline v1.0
Download: .TPF || .DDS
Adds a faint line to the adrenaline indicator so you can see more precisely how full each skill's adrenaline pool is. (Note: I highly advise using a clearskills mod (mine or someone else's) along with this mod.)
- Critical Hit v1.0
Download: .TPF || .DDS
The flashing impact effect displays "CRITICAL" when you make a critical hit. (Actually, it displays it twice, in a sorta "nova" style, since that's the way the flash effect is displayed.)
- PingGem v1.0
Download: .TPF || .DDS
The ping "dot" is converted to a small gem that fits into the "notch" at the top of the radar's housing. (Use the in-game F11 menu to position it there.)
- ChatButton v1.0
Download: .TPF || .DDS
The passive state of the chat button is very, very transparent. Since it's usually just screen clutter for those of us who aren't uber-traders (or who know where the '~' key is).
- Lifebar v2.0
Download: .TPF || .DDS
A lot of folks thought the previous version was too damn ugly. This one's a lot less intrusive, at the expense of being harder to read. 50% and 80% are marked with solid blue-grey arrow notches. There's a faint gradient across the whole bar, and the rest of the indicators (arrow notches every 10% and small lines every 5% in between) are drawn as anti-gradient in the alpha-channel, resulting in a fainter, less-intrusive, red-on-red (or green-on-green, or blue-on-blue, or whatever-on-whatever) effect. (OK, that description sucked - just look at the picture.)
- AllComponents v2.0
Download: .TPF
All the components available in one file.
Contains:- MenuButton v1.0
- WindowsButtons v1.0
- UnslectButton v1.0
- Lifebar v2.0
- SpiritRadar v1.0
- BorderedClearSkills v1.0
- ChatButton v1.0
- PingGem v1.0
- CriticalHit v1.0
- Adrenaline v1.0
Here's a picture of the new components:

what hes saying is as you cant change the models if you just copy the textures from the pesant it will look funny and not match the model of your sin armour. and as there is no hat for any sin, you cant even have the staw hat at all.

TexMod and armor visual improvments have really revamped the game for me. All 4 of my FoW armors and all 5 of my tormented weapons look sexier than ever. for a helpful guide and someone who is more than willing to customize armor for you see this thread:

Request from Chthon:
Can you make the log out button the same transparency as you menu, chat, and windows buttons?

Not sure if you know this, but you can drag out any of the button from the menu..um..menu and they will be an independent button.
I can do better than that, here's the dds.
The log out buttons are the 7th and 8th column and the 4th row.
I think the regular button is the one on the left and the hover is the one on the left.
I know how to do the technical stuff, just not the artsy stuff.

Sad to report I can't make it work. It seems like that file is displayed using threshhold alpha. Everything above a certain level is 100% visible, and everything below it is 100% invisible. I can give you totally invisible buttons if you like, but that's about all.
