I changed the mesmers elite courtly armor texture, but the texture was not only applied to the elite courtly armor but to the normal courtly, Kurzick , enchantress and sunspear armor. The only armor with the normal texture was the Elite Kurzick armor and after wearing it, all the other textures were back to the unchanged version.
Any idea what that was about?

Fixed 80% marker, included all mods in 1 download.
Quartz, Crystal, and HighVis are all full featured interfaces, the rest are just components designed to be used with other UIs

I'd hazard a guess you're correct there. TtBoMK, GW has zero by way of client-side detection. Besides, I'd think that, if they did have client-side detection, then Ailia and Jackrabbit would have surely been banned by now too. Whatever the cause, I'm hoping that you are unbanned soon.
On other topics,
Artemis, the BlackGlass mod looks awesome. I'm eagerly awaiting the final version.
I haven't had the time to play with this yet, so I've got a question: Is it possible to unpack or otherwise alter a .tpf so that it can be further worked on? I'd love to use a combination of blackglass and quartz as a starting point.
Regarding 50% & 80% lines, they're ugly. A small carat on the bottom of the bar (or matching carats on the top and bottom) would look much nicer, IMO. If you really wanted deep wound markers, just stick a second set, probably a little smaller, at 40% and 64%.
Has anyone done anything to fix that new unselect button that looks like a "kinda deep wound"?
Edit:
For those without photoshop (or even those with photoshop), I suggest the GIMP. Here's a DDS plugin that's reported to work for it.

Everyone who's going on about bright skins creating unfair PvP "advantages" please look down at your keyboard and locate the CTRL key. (PROTIP: There are two.) Next time you find yourself in a PvP match, please press one of those CTRL buttons and hold it down. Observe the results.
I'm sorry to be a little caustic there, but seriously, folks. Get a grip. Modders adjusting skins on their client confers absolutely ZERO advantage over what the CTRL key and map awareness don't already offer, and I've yet to see an argument that can soundly counter this fact.
Relax a little. Someone else's modded skins are not going to wreck your game, PvP or PvE.

They didn't say why I was blocked but they did say it was their mistake.

This is a good sign to those of us who want to mod without risking our accounts. Hopefully we get something official soon.
EDIT: Speaking of pleasant official statements...

To all modders: It's important to note that the parameters concerning the use of third-party programs do still apply. We cannot condone the use of such programs, and we cannot support the accounts of those who may be negatively impacted in using such programs. That's called the "If it eats your hard drive and blows up your refrigerator, don't call us" policy.
Honestly, though, as previously stated, it is unlikely that we would actively pursue or action those who use such programs in a positive manner, that is, those whose only interest is creating benign mods of our games. Keep in mind that occasionally people get creative and might bring up the use of a harmless program to attempt to mask other harmful activities. We see that with other situations, such as where they say "But I was only using an alternative OS, why was I blocked?" and we discover they are using major bot programs.
If you feel that this creates a "mixed message," then I guess we should discuss that concern. I can understand where the strict "Don't do that" is clearer than "We can't say you can do that, but we won't take action if you do choose to do it." There are some cases where it's not black and white. One example that comes to mind is the use of emulators to play Guild Wars. We develop only for the PC, but others play on other systems and that's totally ok. However, if they develop difficulties, our Support Team is not available to help them resolve those issues. So we don't prohibit the alternative, we simply decline to support it.
What I want to say above all about this matter is that if you're going to mod, have fun, but do stick with the benign and positive uses of the programs and create mods that impact the game only in ways that are fun and harmless. If there's more information to share, I will do so as soon as it becomes available to me. --Gaile 00:33, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
