I haven't tried these quests yet, but they look incredibly exciting. Run around, avoid enemy patrols and if they start attacking you, just hit the invulnerability button! Wouldn't it be fun if there was a skill like that in the actual game?!

It really does.
I know I said I wouldn't do it anymore but I've done it three times now (blasted work!) but I'm now planning on doing it with the other characters I have soon. Pretty much follow your route/order as well... except for in the Plains where I take the middle path on the way back to avoid that second pop-up...but I'm not trying to break any speed records either.
Haven't used consumables... haven't seen a need for it really.
I can understand why there are some having problems with this...heck, my first character I think I died about 5 times in the Pits before I got it down and even now it's far from "perfect" in there but I make it through.
Looking forward to seeing the 3rd quest, but I am kinda hoping it'll be something a little different. Running was kinda cool for the first two, but I think if it keeps up it'll just get a bit monotonous. At least I might have it down completely though if it comes to that! lol

I'm not sure if the Lieutenants insignia works.
I had it on while doing it on my warrior, got hexed a few times but didn't pay much attention to it.

I honestly doubt it works - it was really just a random thought. I'm assuming the coding of the quest has everyone at a fixed armor level, fixed health, and fixed energy, thus ignoring any runes/insignias/weapon mods you happen to have equipped. I like it that way - makes for a balanced experience where certain classes don't have an advantage (such as Warriors with the Lieutenant's insignia).

you could test going in naked and then try with armor on. i'm pretty sure it does have an effect.

Just finished photoshopping the route I take and priorities.
Haven't used any consumables on any trip.

Thats pretty good, especially tackling the Bone pits first because i know one little thing could screw it up big time

You may be about 30 minutes early on that assumption.

I'm kinda glad. That leaves me time to do other "important" things, like raptor farming.

No, there really isn't going to be one today.
It'll resolve itself soon enough I guess but I wish they'd give us a spoiler free statement of intent. Something, anything, to get ecto moving again would be fantastic. At the very least tell all the Chicken Littles the game isn't going to explode on the 31st.

I think it, just like how your skills, health, energy are all set in cb but you can use condition shortening runes and +armor and they'll work.

the current quest can be done in ~16 minutes using only one blue candy (my personal best is that much, done it four times only though). you can even run through the pits without waiting for recharges or hugging the walls at all if you get into the right timing and can switch targets properly, thus knocking down everything on your way.

I think our skill bar needs some kind of self heal. Anything really. A small one. I died to hex degen because they piled on multiple hexes before I could hit the iwin button.

That just means you need to hit the iwin button sooner.

Maybe that's my issue. The patrols are spaced so close together that my skill runs out before it's recharged and I am surrounded by bad guys who are trying to eat me for lunch.
On another note, what consumable items will actually give me a benefit? I know +hp, etc won't work. Will candies with increased run speed work? I have piles of those thanks to Santa Claus. What about + morale? Will morale increase my hp?
