Very cool.
I wonder if the other quests will be as simple as this one was. o_O

Reserving comments until I see all quests, but so far so good. Especially liking how the lore ties into it.
I bet that the reason it won't be available again is because it will either be a reason to change UW and/or be an indication of a change that will be in GW2 lore-wise.

ANet took a player-created (and developer-allowed) farm and turned it into lore? I'm not sure how to react to that.

It's been done before.
Kepkhet
The new quests are a treat, and I'm looking forward to the rest.

Umm same way you reacted to Kepkhet and her little story being added in I guess.
Anyway doubt it has anything to do with gw2, just a little story to go along with the uw changes that will come.
Edit: Damn MisterB beat me to it.

I love it!
This first quest was fun and easy, and did a really nice job of tying-in lore as well as some other, very nice tie-ins.
I can't wait for the rest of the series!

yep first was easy and if nothing else the tot bags and tonics will help with titles (though tot bags seem to only give me sweets/alcohol....and not party points )....we shall see what transpires with the next quest (s).....

first i can say i give the quest a 2 out of 5. -1 for having to use a tonic. what if you didnt have one? i can see people selling them for more now. -1 the hardness of monsters. would have been more fun if they used some other types aka like grenches in wintersday. and last -1 for the long run. lucky for me i knew where to go for it. then i had to try and explain how to do it to peeps in my allaince.
So their will be more? do we have to wait until tomorrow then? Oh and the reward was okay just wish it was more.

You could always get one from the Horsemen around Elona, they give those tonics as well you know :P I liked the Quest and especially the Dhuum references make me want to do the rest as well, especially if we have to fight Him at some point

5/5 for me.
This is the "lead-in quest", I'm happy it's easy and it's fun. You get to know the skills you'll be using in the upcoming parts, and you familiarize yourself with the UW as much as you can.
Having to use a tonic: I don't see a problem with this, just buy one, or ask a friend to give you one. There was a tonic giveaway in my alliance to people who didn't have any.
Hardness of monsters: I am not an UWSC farmer, so it's quite nice for me to be able to see the UW monsters (like the smite crawlers for instance), plus it's very easy to get by them if you use your given skills smart. Yes they can hit you hard, but the point is to not let them do so, right?
Long run: Once I figured out the way to go, it took me approximately 2 minutes to run from start to finish. Not exactly what I'd call "long" ^_^.
My only frustration came from the fact that I am not that familiar with the layout of the UW, and the little yellow "pings" on your radar don't really help you figure out the way. They tend to ping behind you, from the way you came, not where you're supposed to go.
Still, easy enough to figure out.
EDIT: Love the dialogue, especially the "You look delicious! You're lucky I don't have a mouth!" and "Too many beings have been slain recently in the Underworld." and of course "Go tell your master to heed my warning... Dhuum is coming!"
Puts you into a very anticipating mood. Can't wait til tomorrow! ^_^
Anet, good job with the first one, can't wait to play the rest!!
*Dhuum Dhuum DHUUUUM*

Kewl! I'm super excited about the upcoming quests now!
Also, ridiculous amounts of title points for very little effort? Yes please! 15:1 return ratio is uhhh, good, to say the least.
