For some reason you think Anet should appease people who excluded people from playing.

Guess what? We just got a FREE content addition. Whether or not you think it's sufficient, or would rather cry about the things you didn't receive for free, to tear down their job and efforts is incredibly arrogant and frankly, idiotic.

Gotta agree. Most of the time what really needs to be adjusted(like SF) isnt taken seriously because there are too many people who aren't happy with anything...gotta pick your battles.

It's a different game. There's more than enough content for the current players of GW. Focus on making the next one great.

Yes, a team of 3 people is significant development resource. My point is if this is the kind of attention they give their game after four years, what kind of support should we expect out of GW2? If they can't exercise proper CR with GW1, why should that change with GW2? The best indicator of future behavior is past behavior.

As a side note, I finished UW in HM and fought Dhumm... we got rocked within minutes and 6 of our 8 members died, Not really sure what happened as we all read up on what to do and we followed it closely....anyway....
My wish is that It werent so hard on a balanced team, i mean theres so many tiny things that can go wrong which turn into getting booted out. I would much rather do that than use SF.

Did Dhuum get fixed so that he doesn't have the 90% damage reduction anymore (Sorry if this has been asked before)

Wait, wait.
SF is going to be nerfed in the next skill update?
TWO MORE MONTHS? You are worse than Blizzard's team that handles Diablo 2.

Diablo 2 still gets updates? That game came out 10 years ago.

If by updates you mean 1.12 that did nothing that players couldn't do before with modifications, or 1.13 that was announced "to be released by the end of April", then yes, it's still updated.
Also, 2009 - 2000 = 10? Yaaay.

Funny how people choose the past behaviour that suits them, and ignore the rest. On guru, that generally means choosing the bits that suit wallowing in a cesspool of pessimism and depression (the place that people go when they exhausted a game, but for some reason just can't move on)
Me, if past behaviour is anything to go by, I personally would expect GW2 to be an awesome game, have at least 3 years of excellent support and content updates... maybe winding down after that but still with decent updates and support while A-Net works on The Next Big Thing.

If I can get 2-2.5 years of solid support and updates ala GW1, then 2-1.5 years of support that I feel is good enough I think it will be well worth the cost in my opinion.

I hope when they get the test krewe going they give more rational feedback than Anet's current testers. I mean they missed a lot of things here.
- Trying to stop SF groups by changing UW... in a way that gives no advantage at all to balanced groups? That's stupid.
- Making Dhuum a Halloween quest, but if you did the quest chain you find out the last one requires an UW clear. How is that rewarding? And I don't mean materially... I mean if you're telling a story, don't make the ending be "and now you have to do an UW clear" the ending. That's not a quest that's a gotcha, you MMO playing jackasses will do anything!

I assure you, we won't let you down. Especially since I'm a huge nag
Although keep in mind that for whatever confidential reasons Arenanet has (Hush hush), they have reasons for whatever they do.

You can't compare Jagex to Anet. You honestly cant.
Tough you have to pay a monthly fee (which is minima ,like what 6 euros?), Jagex listens to the community. They always create a healthy balanced between cathering the community, but also making people "work" for rewards.
Tough, GW is a better game (arguable in it's state post 2005), Runescape has had better support for over a year now.
Jagex used to make the same mistakes (They removed PvP -wilderness for those who played it) as Anet. They did, however, make a 180° turnaround the day they realized alot of people left. (Just like GW)
Now, they're activly taking suggestions on their forums, and following them through. I actually suggested several in-game updates myself (I was amazed they actually read my thread on the forum, and pushed the idea through).
Obviously:
Any new content > no content
But alot of people seem to forget:
Broken content < Fixed content.
They can add a million new maps, and people will still find a farm build for it. Anet WANTS to achieve a "high-end PvE" environment where you can't just buttonbash your way through. (Pretty much like every Elite Area, and PvP right now)
To be honest, the ONLY reason I can think off why they still haven't nerfed farming builds, is chinese farming bots. (Who supply a constant and steady income of money for Anet, concidering they buy acounts)

Like I said - there are only a few people who care about the game. The rest are SF scrubs.

The issue with Sf was it was the best way to do uw...
Anet are trying to remove it, by making it the ONLY way to clear it or wtf?

You seem to constantly whine about people whining. Do you hate yourself? Please find the posts you identify as 'whining' and compare them with your own. I can tell you that they are likely to be far more constructive.
We don't have to praise every inch of what they do just because it's free. The Live Team are being paid to update GW1, and even if they weren't, there's nothing wrong with us evaluating the changes they make.
I suppose there is a large majority who will see this merely at face value and think 'cool, a new boss and some minis'. Of those who actually consider the broader impact, though, many don't think this update has done enough. The news that more is to come may ease some of the dissatisfaction.
