factions is relatively the same as about a year and a half ago, 2 districts appear less often in SJ though, havn't noticed many changes in kamadan since i didnt play in hometerritories there. makes little difference english eu district has always been devoid of life in later missions (since i started playing)

it doesn't matter at all. use american districts it's two clicks away.

...and be very thankful you don't have to pay gold to travel like you do in every other cookie cutter MMORPG
worse yet...traveling between america and europe districts is equivalent to switching servers which costs real $$$ in all those other MMORPGs

USE INTERNATIONAL, that's what it's there for after all, as a catch all district for anyone that doesn't have a 'home' district.
Going to another language district and then writing in chat in a non-local language strikes me as being pretty ignorant.

By default, Dutch players are placed into the Europe-English districts. It is in fact, their 'home' district.
Also, International districts are there for those who wish to play together with people from different continents. That's also why it's the primary district where trades from Guru Auctions etcetera are executed. Dutch players who are not interested in that have no reason to go to International districts (although I play in Internation districts myself, because like a former poster mentioned, real men use International).

I find it ignorant, especially in Kamadan where at 1 point all chat was 100% dutch, no wonder people are jumping servers to AE1 instead of EE1, its about time ANet gave the NL/Be people thier own damn servers instead of having them invade the english servers..

Good thing there are never any festival events/games in towns that would be adversely affected by a horrid ping right. Doesn't matter at all in any circumstances ever... except during some festivals.

I'm not too sure but aren't the servers that host the districts geologically located? Therefore.. ping would matter a lot if I lived in America and went to a European district. Even though I might be wrong, I thought I got a little bit higher pings in districts of countries far from me than I did in the US.

This is a major problem for me, I mean the pings. The vast majority of euro players (english speaking) have moved to american districts and even during the time of the day when there are far more europeans connected, they're to be found in american districts.
Solution: Make the PvE instance creating system work just like it does for PvP - no matter what region was the outpost placed in, the battle instances should be created on a server closer to majority of party members, just like it is in PvP.
A global (region independant) Party Search system would be also very good.

Ouch. You mean us Dutch speaking players can't use Dutch anywhere in the game (seeing as we automatically are put into an English district)? Get real about the international district. It's even more deserted than the europe-english district.
