norns, are they humans ?
i was wondering if norns are humans because in gw 2 there will be norns [B}/and[/B] humans
norns look like they r humans but humans dont look like norns when they are in bear mode
and the sylvarians are plant people and asuras are like dwarves only geniuses
and charr are cat like humans
but norns and humans confuse me because whats the diff?

a bear

a further sketch of a bear.

a norn in bear mode

a human
now why are the norn and the human separate just because they turn into bears?
i hear they can turn into other things too like the fox and the snow lepaord and a hawk
but if they have one skill that transforms them why cant humans be bears too?
like if a human gets a norn skill like a elite cant they turn into the bear too just like in da quests in gw1 ?
so why they need to separeite classes of pipple to create the same thing that turns into animals?

Then there's the fact that the Norn are head and shoulders taller than the tallest humans and look as though they could easily break us like sticks...ever notice that?
Hmmmmmmmm maybe because they're not human, they're Norn?

Norn are norn?
Dunno I'll have to look into it.
They're like half-giant humanoids, its like asking if dwarves are just short bearded humans.

There is a lore discussion on this. They're probably human/giant hybrid descendants. So yes, they probably share human ancestry.

They are all human but affected by their environment over millions of years.
Asura are the computer game players many of us will look like that by the time GW3 arrives.
Dwarves are what you get living in caves where tall genes are a disadvantage.
Norn are the survivalists living in the wilderness awaiting the fall of civilization.
Sylvarans are a natural progression of vegetarianism, where you are what you eat.
Charr are the other dietary extreme the result of too many steaks.

EOTN already has Norn and Human as two separate races.
There's your answer. Norn aren't Human.
