and the bad

1) The shambles that is Anet skill balancing
2) Community Relations. I'd be careful before you are done for false advertising
3) AB only consisting of 2 maps these days. Surely something could have been changed to improve this borefest
4) Anets wankathon over SF. Just kill the RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing "skill"
5) My guild dying, everyone else is now on the WoWtrain. Maybe the next skill balance will give me the impetus to get a new guild and get back into it with a bit more enthusiasm

^ most of the people I've known who used to play GW have moved on to WoW. Some have moved on to a console, but WoW's content updates are hard to ignore (Yes, yes, they pay for the game. I know).

If PvP would stop going downhill (i.e. if we'd get a decent fcking skill update), then I might care to play again rather than just afk'ing.

My major gripe about this year, basically. Otherwise, giving us updates like Dhuum when the last actual game we paid for was over two years ago is pretty decent.

I'm happy with the zaishen quests and bounties but it was very disappointing to find them rolling over to the same list again (really? there aren't enough bosses to kill?).

The mysterious tonics really killed any value I had (or enjoyment) in my collection of everlasting tonics that I slaved to earn.

I actually like the freebie summoning stones. Maybe I'm just lame, but as a very casual PvE player, it's nice to have a bit of extra support when I need it.

good: zqs
it was nice to know what it feels like to pug again...even if it was fairly short lived

bad: lack of skill balances
aside from the horrible time management and delays, they also expressed questionable priorities--which far differ from the way i view gw and what gw originally used to be.

funny: so-called "pvp love"
i love how this update shitted on pvp'rs (hb'rs+ta'rs) and introduced a new pvp mode for pve'rs to play

We got costumes! It was worth it! (Yay!)

Well, now without jokes.
All that keeps me in the game is updates and events.
No real updates means I won't enter the game for a while. It's as simple as that.

I did not log much this year. That should sum it all up.
