Default Celestial Pig+Asian Minipets

I've always been interested in the prices of rare/high end minipets, and I was wondering what people think will be the effect on them during Canthan New Year. After seeing the rocket in Celestial Pig prices last year, peaking at around october/november at 300e+, I was wondering if people thought we would see a rocket during Canthan New Year, seeing as celestials will be a main part of it, but also I want to know whether people think that the massive drop in their value since the peak means that they will never be quite that popular again.

I'd also be intersted in whether people think that the Asians will keep rising in value; the dedicated ones have slowed and even gone down since peak, although they still have a good 30-40% increase since a few months ago.

Basically im just interested in people's predictions and/or stats on high-end, non birthday minipets. Facts and opinions are equally welcome ^^.

prices will keep rising as people dedicate them in homs or as owners stop playing gw.

The longer that GW continues the more expensive promotional mini pets will become due to undedicated ones becoming rarer and rarer. In the end, I thinkj your Miniature Asura will keep rising in price.

benefits from having them in HoM are still quite uncertain
and you can expect celestial pets to come back every 12 years... or sooner if they decide to loop celestial cycle earlier to switch ~100% onto gw2 maintainance.

Well get that in the long run they should be rising steadily, but what I really want to know is in the next few months to a year, what do people think will happen?; as the MASSIVE drop in prices for the cele pig (partly because of ecto rises and partly because of the fact most people who want them now have them), has shown that promo minis can go down.

Of course, every 12 years the Chinese zodiac repeats.

So.... not like anybody would even be playing anymore, but EVENTUALLY the prices of all celestial minis will crash down again.

Edit: Dang.... didn't know my piggy was worth that much.

I doubt they will. I imagine if you miss them 1st time, that's it.

In any case, yes I am fairly confident that high end unded minis will go up and up and up.

I could care less about that. Thanks to those idiots who would buy the mimi pigs and delete them then complain about them and whined to Gaile about which brought about yet another crappy change. Which turned out to all to be a ploy for those who would benefit by trading them in to get the celestial pig. Truth is all those can be gotten in then the game again and again.

Least I have 5 of which you can't get in game or any other way. enjoy

Thanks for all the posts so far guys. Could anyone give me any ideas about the immediate rises, I'm particularly interested in the fact that cele pigs have become less popular and worth a lot less in the last month or two.

Btw I couldn't help commenting on the fact cele ox's are not 50-100k, thats a big over estimate. Rats are about that much but ox's still can be seen going for 35k in Kammy sometimes, so they havent risen much at all since the end of last Canthan New Year.

If anyone's interested I've asked around in game and checked the trade chat and it seems:
Cele Rat unded=70k-80k
Cele Ox Unded=40k
Cele Pig Unded=200e

And you forgot that ANET is doing something special if you have ALL the celestial minipets; dedicated or not.

they said nothing specific about it, it could just be a bling bling bonus depending on how many green/gold pets you have in your HoM or you could visit and show ur HoM in gw2 who knows

Going slightly off-topic with the whole GW2 discussion. Let's stick to the main question which I will re-phrase: "What will the prices of Celestial minipets and Asian Minipets be doing in the very near future?".
