Just as I thought, having released a 'big' skill update we won't see one for ages (I mean seriously, the monsters recieved more attention than the players) even thoguh it was jsut a cumulation of 6months without a balance...I think they're fading balancing out all together.

Yeah let's instead give the win to the team that can build wars the next lamest thing in 3 days.
1-2 weeks after mAT is the time to fix these things, and they'd be in a position to do that if the past update had come at such a time. Only a handful of guilds were playing the current meta in the past mAT created just a few days before, so it wasn't as obvious that there was a problem.

Making a post-skillbalance build or taking a "potential" buildwars is way more difficult than taking the overpowered fotm and go smash button/tab hex !
It's already a lamefest meta (provided by the double champ week-end and the fiasco of the last skill update), don't be surprised if the monthly will be over-runned by hexers, Sw sin and 4-ele "28 min" builds
It will be the worst monthly since August 2009 (hi R/A, noo don't shake thoses builds too early, lamers will be disappointed :'( ). Good thing for me, i won't waste my time in observer mode this month^^

Don't know if this will get deleted (there is more info in other threads on this forum than in these screenshots). Can't proof I did this today, but you'll have to take my word for it that I took this in the last half hour.
Disclaimer: I have never entered Duncan's level without doing the first 4 bosses, but you can clearly see that it's possible from the pic. You can walk through amazing scenery that you never see ingame. You can walk to all dungeon entrances from behind (no reason for any but Duncan though). You can walk through all dungeon areas, including the area you run through to get to eotn. Anyway, fixing this shouldn't be very very easy...

lol i don't honestly see why this update is so bad...they updated the hero's AI which is almost always a good thing (especially the soul twisting) and I hope no one was expecting a big skill update since they did say they were on a bi-monthly now (and yes I do know how late the first Bi monthly was last month). About the duncan bug thing, though I have never done slavers before, I would have imagined more people being happy about it than not I mean weren't lots of people complaining about the nerfing of speed runs? If I'm hearing right, this new buggy run is quite quick.

Less people playing = less servers to pay for.
You're not going to tell me that when they have a team of educated business people running the company, this has never crossed their minds.
In the very least, they understand people are leaving because of the shitty updates. (February was a decent month ago, but still couldn't live up to the expectations. -It was supposed to be the outcome of not having 3 bi-monthly updates, yet only 30-50 skills orso got touched...)
So yes, I'm pretty sure that they understand people are leaving because of these updates. Wether this is their intention, I don't know, but it's a very real possibility.

Personally, I think they're confused why people who have clearly finished doing everything there is to be done are raging about having nothing to do. They're not releasing huge content patches anymore people! It's a fact: if you're bored, put the game down, and come back if/when they add some content (a la Dhuum) that makes it interesting for you again. Or when they start ramping up to GW2 with whatever connecting content they have planned. Or never. Who cares? Just stop b****ing about the game not getting regularly updated when they've been very clear that their priority is GW2 for the foreseeable future.

I also decided to go on a little exploratory trip of the area behind the portals. There's a lot of stuff there from tons of dungeons, but what about the areas we didn't see? There's no kind of icy spots like the Sepulchre or Snowman lair, or firey areas like the Cathedral of Flames or Duncan's end area. Might there be other whole dungeons that can be accessed in this way to explore those other kinds of territories, just for exploration's sake? There aren't really any other kind of lobbies like Slavers' has...
The end area after defeating the Great Destroyer isn't in the map of the Slavers' lobby. Maybe that area can be breached somehow?
Edit: Epilogue doesn't seem to work, gonna try Zinn's secret lair next.
Edit: The secret lair doesn't have any holes in it either, so I'm out of ideas.

Here's Lion's Arch. Wish Lion's Arch was this peaceful and quiet huh? No guilds recruitments spams, no trade spams, no NPC, and no body else.
See why the need to fix the skills(PLURAL) and not just the portal in Slaver's Exile? There are more than one portal in Slaver's Exile that you can jump from.
and Slaver's Exiles - skills 6-8 are use only to run there.

Yeah I made a few screenshots of the 'lava' part too. Most of the accessible areas are dungeons yes, but there are several spots that you never see in-game.

Yeah, it's almost as if ANET wants us to portal jump to see these new areas. Doesn't it make you curious? Why have this unique room available only through portal jumping and no where else? Why design the room? It's not like the room with all those designs appear there on its own. Someone design it and placed it there, but why and for what reason????

Probably for test/design purposes that were left after it went live. Arachni used to have the same type thing. There are a bunch of "hidden" dungeon test maps too that probably have similar.

It seems more like dungeons are pulled from larger template(s) and have the doors closed or walls added to sections they want cut off. Consider how often dungeon sections are reused like Frostmaw level 4 being the same as Snowman Lair. Inside the hidden zone in Slavers there is an entire copy of Thommis/Rand section and an entire copy of the area you enter EotN while fleeing the destroyers including the Asuran Gate.

They already know about the bug, they fixed it once 2 weeks ago... LOL!... but they are too stupid to realize that with the two possible skills to accomplish the glitch x a ton of leaky holes in the walls = many ways to portal jump. Seems like they are basically saying to glitchers to go for it, we dont ban and we dont care. Run Duncan in 2 mintues. On the other hand they see 600 monks and say, omg! We better kill those bad boys!
