Doing so in a disparaging tone, however, is rather worse. There are many parts of GW that can't be done solo - and the parts that are not popular, where you CAN'T get a group, get very problematic.

While that is true, I think part of the problem is also that Guild Wars, while it does still have a fairly strong community considering it's age and the way updates work in GW, more then likely isn't as large as it once was. As such, the lack of people in areas that aren't as popular is definately a valid complaint.....but again, that's more so a problem with the community itself then the design of that particular area. I do see where you're coming from, however complaining about a area that is currently still popular really isn't a valid complaint. Especially when much of the game CAN be soloed and as people haven proven, so can this.

Trust me, you'd be suprised how polite I normally am when dealing with people that don't blow their tops quickly and complain about silly things, but eh, that's besides the point.
Edit: Also, why double post instead of just editing?o.O

Well, if you can normally be polite - make an effort Really, the realities of fly catching aside, it makes for calmer and more productive discussions. Personally, I use my actual name as my character name in part to keep me disciplined - to keep the temptation of anonimity away.
As for double posting... while I was posting, there was a lot of traffic, and I thought it'd be missed.
Anyway, I had to motivate the ghost town of a guild I have to make an effort on WiK. Good thing the reward skins are nice enough to tempt them...

Just a note, the name on my profile name is the same as my character ;P Well.......the last name anyways, basically if you see (insert name) Celestina it's probably me, so I'm still brutally honest regardless XD
Anyways, on topic, the rewards are definately a motivation......personally I still need to get a staff for my smite monk.
