The above post is proof of my point on how the WiK is our last feelings before GWII

I don't find a viable excuse in your own argument. The GW1 team and the GW2 team is like comparing a pear to a giraffe. Totally different elements. The hype for GW2 is already there (See: Eye of the North.)
GW1's hype job for GW2 is done.
WiK is just a bridge between the gap to fill in bits of lore and story (Which I like), but I find it disappointing that the hyped up this bridge to such an unbelievable level that they have no way of being able to fill the expectations they themselves built up.

Wow. The Battle For Lion's Arch sucks. I think I almost got all the way through it with H/H. The group with the Perfected Jade overran us and there were just too many of them. I really don't know what the Asuras are waiting for to use their weapon though. I'll try it again tomorrow hopefully with a human group.

The weapon just infuses npcs and reversed some (?) spectral agony damage. It's pretty useless. In theory, it is supposed to make the npcs and your minions survive spectral agony. Kinda cool how it reflects it, but useless by the time you actually obtain it since the battle is already over.
Once you see the monk boss, you know it's about to be done.

I have never had a prob with anything in game with heroes and henchies. this however is a horse of a different color. wave after wave of relentlessness. i refuse to say that something in this game is too hard, but this is definitely walking the knife edge. i am surprised because i would figure they would want all people to see this content. this isn't going to be something that everyone will see the end of. wish you guys at anet would take that into account. i will roll this with my alliance tomorrow. 2 level 10 henchies thrown into the mix is ridiculous especially for an instance where you could just up their level. w/e, those perfected jade are gonna get rick-rolled tomorrow.

that perfect whatever group blows ass. they should either increase the number of npcs or add some kind of environmental effect that adds something similar to using cons or something. its seriously way too much unless you have a super organized team or you get lucky and that group doesn't spawn at all or something its nearly impossible to do. i don't have a whole ton of options as a warrior and i joined a group with another warrior and we rolled with heroes and i got to the same exact spot as i did with the 2 lvl 10 henchmen. well maybe a good portion of that mob was dead but that mob still steamrolled through. this is messed up if i can clear the initial area, the beach, the caves, and most of the battlefield area in FOW with me and my 3 heroes they should be able to rape this mission with all the other firepower provided. i hope there is a bug and it turns out something went wrong and too many things spawn or something that would be nice to wake up and fire up the game and see an update apologizing or some shit . wow holy crap long post i ramble
edit-also if it seems like i am whining i kind of am. i appreciate the challenge and all but its crazy how much more power you need to do this mission and i seriously doubt the people who came up with this crap actually completed it either... pics or it didn't happen(no dev mode either!) its nice to see something pve related thats actually hard but jeeze i doubt the average gamer could beat this. something needs to be toned down or buffed atleast a little bit. crap im rambling again

I found that group (and the first war boss) a real pain to kill, luckily, the group never went past the first steps, so I could keep throwing my body at them and slowly wear them down.
FYI after 5 min or so the npcs' will respawn, and some of them have meteor shower. If you can ball the jade up long enough for a few caster npc's, they'll go down.
I used Panic and a discordway hero setup, hench were death fodder

wow that mission in LA is RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOed if you try to use the henchmen, they're totally useless bags of shit. The infusion or whatever the asurans are supposed to do doesn't do crap as that perfected wave just wipes your party out near instantly. Tried using a panic hero too and that didn't help at all.

I think I cheated a bit when I did the quest; since I had no clue what I was doing, I decided to hold at the gate right where the mantle kept spawning. My hero's minions kept agroing the group outside where they all became bunched up. A couple casts of panic, ether nightmare, and CoP (with air of superiority) cleared them out. I did this for the first few spawns until the war boss wiped us, and then decided to camp at the first set of stairs, which worked pretty well.
If you're not a primary mesmer, I'd reccomend microing that panic hero, since the AI doesn't recgonize when to cast panic.

ok guys finally did this crap earlier. we had myself being just a lamo warrior with evas and ymlad and light of deldrimor with some basic attacks. a barrage sin. a good aoe dealing ele. a mystery mesmer(i don't know what he did but he brought an awesome healing hero and he did very well) and we had a spirit spammer ranger. and we only had about 2 deaths and a minor hiccup but we blazed through for the most part. there were so many drops i couldn't even see what i was hitting or if i was hitting at all. i had to rely on using the closest person button and the spacebar! and there were so many drops the 1 minute it gave at the end wasn't even enough to pickup everything i got a stack and a half of iron ingots and 10 lockpicks and some major vigor runes it was worth it thats for sure.

no deaths =] kept them on the bridge with spirits and mm.. there's the bar for norgu.. I have no idea if it's optimal but it works.. other 2 are sabway mm and healer
they get bunched up on the bridge and it's over pretty quick

The thing about your screenshots is you have another real player with you and an extra hero not the shitty L10 peons that anet is forcing you to use or forego if trying to do this solo.
