Starting Saturday 7/17/10, I've seen several WTB ads in both GTOB & in Kamadan reading "WTB Victo's Bulwark 10k - open"

Victo's has same stats as Destructive Shield & Strongroots Shelter & is easy to replicate stats with "inexpensive" common mods... The skin hasn't been in demand since prior to Factions.

I've already sold 2, but I'm wondering what's creating the new demand???? Anyone know?

It's more than likely just a coincidence that you happen to see them. Keep in mind there's still a fair amount of people who still play Guild Wars and new players pop up every day.

I've seen these ads as well while watching armbrace prices slowly sink lower and lower, and I have to agree with JonnieBoi it's probably just a coincidence. Idk maybe people want it for the skin?

Yeah PvX wiki can have a pretty strong impact on the game. They often decide what classes are used for PuGs, who to bring in an elite mission (even when the most experienced people say there is no worthwhile difference between a ranger and an ele, the PvX build says ele so rangers never find groups).

The biggest one you will see happen is with insignias. Survivor insignias used to trash but all PvX builds started saying them instead of radiant and everyone jumped on board. Sentinel's Insignia is a more recent one, it used to be cheap as now it's the favoured warrior insignia.

Mostly because a lot of people are sheep and can't come up with stuff on their own.
