I'm just stacking the war supplies until I know what the medals are for. (Probably weapons, but what's the medal<->weapon exchange rate going to be?)

I have quite a few stacks already, and I'm not going to blindly gamble them away.

Opened about 70 of them and i'm got about 67 scrolls and 3 sweets -_- , thanks god they nerfed courier farm....

I think the medals are what I should be saving my war supplies for. Royal Gifts seem like the type of thing Anet have implemented for when players have everything that the medals can be used (traded?) for.

That's what I'm doing. I know if I burn 250 supplies trying to get a mini, I won't get it and the next day there will be a trader taking 250 supplies for the mini.

I'm finding the royal gifts to be worthwhile so far. I did courier runs for the first few days and then lost interest, now I'm just doing bounties for those few gifts a day/every few days. I've probably opened 30ish gifts and got 4 medals, a war horn, a mini livia, and a mini evennia. The rest has been junk for the most part (rampager's insight again? really?)

now pretend you got ONLY the scrolls, possible a medal and some perfect salvages kits---would you still think they are just as worthwhile?

(yep another scroll for me from the royal scrolls)

Well, I sell my perfect salvage kits to people without eotn (there's a few in my alliance) so I'd at least get a few k out of it. Even if the rest was scrolls I would still trade my war supplies for them because I am a habitual gambler in this game anyway, I did the same thing when I was doing DoA. I traded my gemstones for coffers instead of saving up for an armbrace just for that little bit of excitement of taking a chance on rolling the dice.
I guess that's what it really comes down to, if you don't like to gamble, don't take the chance.

Somewhere between 75 and 100 gifts and my husband got a mini Salma. Much better than with Nicholas (1500+ and still no mini).

Still no luck from the gifts, but I dropped a Miniature Peacekeeper Enforcer the very first day of introduction (and that was in NM, while playing H/H).

So, guess I can't complain.

Some food item that takes 15% dp

Power stone and star of transfer and some other reused EOTHN item

All and all nothing of too much importance, but I am still trying. Got the mini mission to do tonight and we can see what we get. I am a sucker and paid 100k for a bunch of war supplies but its just money
