just opened 3 royal gifts, did quest and Falken from Beetletun 3x, got an expert salvage kit, warhorn (summoning stone, yay) and 4 Krytan Brandy's. Nothing really worth anything but an easy farm and you get a plat each time also, wonder how long that will be repeatable?

First four gifts were

Powerstone of courage
4 lockpicks
4 Shining blade rations (removes 15% DP)
Medal of Honor

My thoughts... meh.

Next three...

Three XP scrolls (two of them were blues)

My thoughts... RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO you Salma, you and every Shining Blade will die at my hands!

I wish they'd leave the truly shit drops out of these gifts... a blue XP scroll? That's not a gift, that's a "ha ha RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO you!" straight from some clueless clown at Anet.

Edit: Four more gifts, 3 more Xp scrolls and a Sup. ID kit. Yeah, I'm just lucky like that

Hey genius, they put the crap drops in there to keep the gifts from turning into a high end commodity. aka nick.

I can't get the runner dude to show up for any of my 3 characters. Do you have to do this before you complete the wanted quest or does it matter. i have killed that boss and still haven't seen the falken dude.

I've only been escorting falken with my warrior and he has done the wanted quest. Just rezone until you get him takes me up to 6 rezones to get him.

i finally got him to show up , but i was unprepared for the ganking of popups right away. need to take group with me.

Yup. I've done it twice on the same character. He just doesn't always appear in the same zone.

How is a summoning stone or four lockpicks or some remotely useful consumables going to become a high end commodity? But a blue XP scroll for RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO sake... that's idiotic. The fact that the gifts CAN drop rare mini pets will make them valuable enough, I don't think anybody will scrambling to get them for the chance of a summoning stone or four lock picks... but then, I guess I'm not a genius like you.

Nice job

Falken is seemingly random, just keep rezoning... most I've had to rezone before he'd spawn (outside of LA) was 9 or 10 times. Pick a portal where he can spawn on either side and you double your chances.

3 medals so far and I'm actively trying to drive down the war supplies price lol. Sold war supplies for 500 each and had people raging saying im going to destroy the economy I lawl.

Yes, no need to complete Zinn's Task. A guildie just got into the Keep and got the quest without doing Zinn's Task.
