He still collects items though.

From the Paper Wrapped Parcels I received: 15 Destroyer Cores, 3 Golden Rin Relics, 5 Diessa Chalices, 1 Powerstone of Courage, 1 Armor of Salvation, 1 Essence of Celerity, 1 Perfect Salvage Kit, 3 Refined Jellies, 1 Deldrimor Armor Remnant, 1 Cloth of the Bortherhood.

From the Sack of Random Junk: 6 Frigid Hearts, 7 Leathery Claws, 3 Frigid Mandragor Husks, 1 Tempered Glass Vial.

After giving the candles, sweet, alcoholic drinks and exotic meal there's a new scene in the Hall of Monument ("the hardest part"). Lieutenant Thackeray remains in Ice Cliff Chasms, but I didn't see any change after the "everything is ready" scene.

So far all the alcohol I gave him are not good enough, the only thing I don't have anymore is Hard apple cider. I can't believe that he is searching for something you cannot get in game :/

Even more so that it wont drop again for many months either... :/ Havent been to check it out yet, maybe I'll go after the weekend - got lots of spare stuff laying around I think ^.^

Just tested this theory, a character who has completed Prophecies but not EOtN couldnt get Thackery to appear in the HoM, so ive logged in with a character whos completed EOtN (But not prophecies) and hes appeared. Hope that helps (Im yet to get to the point of trading gifts, going through dialogue now).

Also (unconfirmed) im not sure if thackery appears if you enter the HoM solo... it may have been me, but I dont think he appeared till I added at least 1 hero to party.

He will appear if you go in solo (party size 1/8).

He won't actually spawn until you walk towards Gwen, standing where you spawn doesn't seem to trigger him.

So...what's the point of this exactly? Anyone have any ideas? Just another way to get some items similar to Nick but with both decent and not-so-decent items (at least from the looks of it)?

Also, how many packages can you get from Thackeray? Just one or can you trade with him more than once?

Well, I got from gold packages:-

3 Arctic Sum Stones
3 Gelatinous Sum Stones
3 Fossilized Sum Stones
1 Essence of Celerity

The character hadnt finished proph but the account had. There are about 4 or 5 conversations you need to go through before he appears outside (lots of zoning in and out).

Thackray and Gwen have to hook up and have a kid to fulfill some of the GW2 Lore, so sounds to me like GW2 is getting closer, IMO they are working towards getting GW1 and GW2 lore tied together.
