Hmmm i was just wondering guys, but do lockpicks work on the Zaishen chest? Im just curious since the Zaishen keys are 5k, dropping cruddy creme brules. 1.2k on a bad item>5k on a bad item :-)

Yes, the GW economy is unstable. To be more precise: it is a deflation. Cash increases its intrinsic value over time. That's why things get cheaper from day to day. Additional sources of items with some rarity (e.g. Zaishen Chest) add to this effect. The deflation is because of the loot scaling, which doesn't allow enough cash to flow into the game as compared to the amount of cash spent on armor, weapons, etc. Note that you can earn money, by farming, but just if you farm rare items and sell them to others. That's the issue. You can earn money from that, but through farming you do not increase the amount cash in the economy to compensate the deflation, since you earn by selling to others, not directly by the drops.

Actually I should stop here, since I have some cash, and should be happy that it gains value over time
