Costumes? Can someone explain to me the purpose of the costumes, and why I'd want to pay $10 for one?

I just started last week. Skill unlocks make sense, but I don't see the point in costumes?

There really isn't any other than wanting "that" look.

Can be used in PvE, not in PvP as far as I know.

I wish we could get Headmaster Quin's armor. I've wanted that armor ever since I started my rit and love it when I get that costume in the costume brawl.

That's a 'Canthan noble' type of armor. Like those worn by many ministers and the Jade Brotherhood.

I'd love if there was costumes for each and every single 'army' and group.

We have White Mantle and Shinning Blade.
But what about the Ascalon Armor, the Ebon Vanguard Armor the Zaishen/Imperial Guard armor, the Jade Brotherhood/CAnthan noble, the Am Fah, the Lionguard, or the Kournan?
There are also armors for Vabbian, Sunspear, Luxon and Krytan, but not costumes.
Imagine a full goth costume...
Well.. if you are more into hippies you'll favor the ragged appearance of the Luxon... I must admit I do like the bodypaint, but everything else...

Won't you like any of those! Don't tell me you won't love the Ebon Vanguard armor!

That armor is awesome, it can be worn by any profession... Assasins, Rangers, Elementalists...! It's like some kind of super-armor capable of withstanding Charr attacks and all kinds of weather and rough conditions.
And it doesn't hurt in the groin like many others!

Oh thank you! I was in Denravi yesterday looking for him, and couldn't find him. I tried searching him up on Wiki and it said he was only present during the 06' Halloween. I thought I had been collecting these emblems for no reason!

Ive been pokin around GW.com and wiki etc, but havent seen anything related to quests. Does anyone remember when they rolled out last year?

Everything on Gw.com is just last years info. I searched halloween event 2010-halloween 2010 and just halloween for a general search and got zilch.

I do recall one of the devs in one of these topics saying the quests are coming later.
I believe the log in annoucnment was different last year so not just copypasta.

"A number of new quests will become available throughout the course of the events. " --- is in the game update notes.

Last year the quests came out 3 days after decorations went up. So I would start looking for them no sooner than Sunday afternoon.

Does anyone still have last years halloween quests in their logs? I've still not done the waiting game, and it appears you now get 250 ToT bags for beating it, didn't realise this had changed until I check wikia nd that says it gives 100 ToT bags.
