Getting new Monk chest piece.
I want to get a new chest piece for my Monk. Decided between Primeval and Elite Luxon. Help me decide!

elite luxon if you just get the top, for full set I'd choose primeval

I like elite luxon because it's not used as much, but that's just my rebel-ness creeping in. It does have a Myst IV feel to it, sorta tribal mysterious. I would choose the luxon if you're just getting a top depending on what your other armor looks like of course.
The primeval has a warm look to it but I can't see it matching very much other than more primeval. I don't know how well monk armor mixes though, I don't have a male monk. XD

Primeval is pretty common. Elite Luxon is not. However, Elite Luxon is rather expensive now.

It depends on what the rest of your armor is. I have elite luxon leggings on my monk and normal luxon (not elite luxon) armor looks rediculously awesome on him.

Ive been playing monk for 5 years and only just noticed how high he must wear his trousers.
Despite owning most of the armor sets as this character gets all the love, i usually just wear my first set of armor which is the Granite Citadel one.
Personally normal luxon and kurzick armor go well with most just makesure you don't go obby with chaos gloves, tormented sheild and voltaic spear

The price for jade has increased nearly 10x the normal price. Blame it on the Hall of Monument update.

Stop caring so damn much about what other people like and wear what you like.
It's really not a hard concept to understand.

And Elite luxon (For monk) Is:
10 Parchment
350 Bolts of Cloth
40 Vials of Ink
80 Jadite Shards
75k gold
For just the chest piece it's:
150 Bolts of cloth 15x150=2250
15 Vials of ink 15x370=5550
30 Jadite Shards 30x950=28500
15k gold 15000x1=15000
2250+5550+18500+15000= 51.6k for the chestpiece.
Which is chumpchange compared to the kurzick one, it's over 80k just for the chest.

That's a lot!

Sorry if not all of us can throw around 300k every minute like you. We actually do other things than farming, power trading, etc.

I've a feeling that most people playing the game will find 50k for a single piece of armor expensive.
I would go with whatever fits the amount of money you have and looks best with the other other pieces you have.

Only Dervish, Mesmer and Ranger pieces are combination-friendly, thanks to how they separate waist and gloves. And not all of them.
The rest just look ridiculous when you combine them.
My suggestion is not to mix them for a monk.

I'm currently wearing my Aureate Pants and Labyrinthine chest piece.
Tattoos go with any bottom you have!
