Most peopel are so dumb you have been banned oh then you have botted or done something.
People get banned here for no reason.
And the GM's simple close your thread and say its final.
A player has no rights at all they take your money and time and ban you thats it.
And if i would have used a bot i never done it on my main account but i would have bought a special account for it you dont want to loose 5000 hours you spend + an account with 30 char slots

Using a side account to bot would have resulted in your main account getting banned too.

I am glad to hear that as I would have been very disappointed to find out that someone as vocal about bots was a botter themselves.

Yep that is exactly what has gone on and I've already traced it as to what methods they used. The sad thing is there is already plenty of ways to bypass their new protections if you're like me who has a whole plethora of experience with fighting against and creating these sort of programs. I was a league admin for a few years in a team fortress league dealing with these same sort of techniques.

I fully expect to see the bots back and hopefully they can at least keep the public released ones down to a minimum.

Well, there were others who were "vocal" about bots and botted (i.e. Mini Vizu), but that's neither here nor there.

It's too bad I missed out on Dhuum killing botters. That would have been awesome to see.

This thread is going nowhere and funny as it is should be closed. I am interested to see whether we can get an official response on the use of Texmod and MultiLauncher but it doesnt look like that will happen so this thread is only here to entertain the community and for those caught cheating to complain about how hard done to they are.

Even funnier is the thread on game revision.com where all the cheaters are bitching about how much work the put in and how much they lost. Well get over it. Play the game the way it should be and you wouldn't get banned. As for the class action for Repetative Strain Injury, I cannot wait to see that. Come on be serious, nobody forces you to keep clicking the buttons to play the game, you do it because you want to.

It is about time that something was done about the botting, shame about all the innocents who got caught up in it and I hope you all get your accounts back soon. As for the real botters, close the door behind you please

I was a little worried about GW2 with the infestations but this has alleviated some of my fears. Hopefully their announcement is true and they are still taking active measures against new bot designs.

I have to say though, I agree with others who have voiced disallowing DLL injection. I know that lots of bots don't even use this, but it wouldn't hurt. Add in a feature that does what KSmod does in the F11 menu. Add another button on the map that allows you to change the clouds to a different texture to help with cartographer. That way the features will be in game and there will be no need to use "non malicious 3rd party software". They can just blanket it and ban anything.

Does anyone else agree?

the limit is 35, you can buy 26 additional ones (plus the 8 you get for having all the campaigns and the extra one from nightfall pre-release).
