I only have the ID dumped to the text file and that appears to change between everyone's version of the DAT file. I have it as ID 7991 -- best way would be to find the CRC of the file and give you that, but as I'm LB/SS farming right now that'd mean I'd have to close the game and get the CRC...

i think that whole marketplace thing isnt an outpost. It must be some sort of environment if you know what i mean for trading. Like it shows messages and stuff say when an item is unidentified etc

Yeah, I downloaded the GWDatbrowser and I'm trying to find the stuff you guys are talking about but man, it's like finding a needle in a haystack.
Question about the texture files though, for half of them, I have to export them just to see them. Is there a way around this?

This is where i come and urge everyone not to mess with gwdat browser unless they took precautions (use firewall, make sure you have it from trustworthy source, best thing you can do is to download sources and compile it yourself.)

You can modify it all you want I believe, because it would only change the appearances of things on your own screen. The thing Anet gets really upset about is using extracted GW graphics in other games.

http://www.raechaer.de/GWDatBrowser.zip
Extract in your GW folder and run GWDatbrowser.exe

The Xentax one would be pretty safe. They have better things to do than release spyware.

The first one is the alphabet used in the Charr areas. If you look at the banners in Charr areas, you'll notice that the symbols actually do consistently translate over into the english language.
A B C D E etc correlate to each symbol above.

Theres alot of weird stuff in here, and its very interesting to look at some of it!
I recommend downloading that program previously mentioned and trying it out.
The files seem to be organized by what exactly they do, like cursors, icons, then other sorts of textures. Its still very messy though.

A little off topic, but i was having my first play around with texmod the other day (was epic fail) and when it targetted the + icon for party formation the texture it was targetting had all these other icons on it too, thumbs up/thumbs down etc etc (forgot to log it and cant get on atm).
Looked like that "kick vote" thing that i remember being talked about ages ago, anyone remember what happened/didn't happen?
