I noticed, however, that they've screwed up the HotN Winterday chain, though. They removed "Wintersday Cheer" because they added "A Good Deed" (which doesn't really make sense, why not just let us choose which one we want to do. I would rather follow the HotN stuff without having to complete the Vanguard leg first). But once I completed "Snowball Dominance" on a couple of characters who have not witnessed any of the Gwen/Kieran Wik/HotN stuff, that particular part of the chain is now shows as complete and they witnessed the Picnic dialogue. So I am assuming that none of my characters can complete SD if I want to also have them complete AGD.

Bah, I don't think I'll ever want to have a 3 para hero team, it makes no sense in the story, and well I was hoping they'd gives something interesting like how Razah was initially going to have a selectable profession.

People would complain "another useless hero" about pretty much anything except another necro. and if it actually would have been a necro hero, then people would be complaining that gw has no soul and only caters to people who can use a cookie cutter hero team build.

Personally I'm glad it's a para hero. it's a profession we only had 2 of (which seems an obvious requirement for the profession we were going to get) and it synergizes fairly well the more you have in the party. come 7-hero parties, we could see some really good builds.

As for the hero being Keiran, what did you expect? I know too many people like to call Gwen "harpy" (or worse) but it would have sucked hooking them up then essentially just abandoning half the pair. This section of Guilwars Beyond was called "Hearts of the North" eg; bringing closure+happiness to Gwen and prepping the story for GW2.

Now, for combining the two and turning Keiran into a para. that is a little weird, but it doesn't bother me near as much as it apparently bothers some people. It would have been nice to have a little more story for that (afaik the only nod to it is Aiden's reaction at the wedding). but (a) we don't know what they need for the story for GW2 and (b) I'll happily suspend my belief for a few mins and take a 3rd para over a 4th ranger hero any day.

Despite all the complainers, I'm happy. Anet did well on this in my book (story, profession, and hero-wise).

I'm uncomfortable bringing Gwen and Keiran in my party at the same time.
I fear that if I flag them behind that when I come back later that they'll be getting busy.

This has nothing to do with wintersday, it's connected to their wedding so you can get it whenever you want.

3rd paragon, love it.
I use 2 para heroes and a mes hero all the time anyways. A third is nice, but it isnt like I am going to use anything else anyways, so it really didn't matter what it was.

And I'd give him a shortbow too so he's firing faster and in earshot of your melee.

I kinda like Keiran as a Paragon hench, or perhaps I just prefer the ebon vanguard armor to the average paragon armor.... Anyways I would have hated it if Keiran was ranger #4

I almost have never tried a pargon hero in my team, But a hero with second prof ranger using a bow is something I do a lot its great on a Rt, Ne and Ele.
So I can imagine that it wil be fun on a Para to.. Wel,,, more stuff to trie

I think the bow was supposed to be some sorta reward for us...I HATE that he is a paragon..I have my own and dont really want another. I have him set as a P/.R so he is using his bow for now while i tinker with a few builds

yeah I made him a p/r as well....I am just glad we didnt get another warrior or sin (neither class I use for heroes)....or a totally useless dervish (3 is plenty already).....so another paragon...meh, he will get to hang out with goren and nogru.

now if you run the build listed here with Another supppoort Para..and another ranger either hero (with barrage) or henchie..it actualyl works failry well

I did find one fun team build..
Kieran Same build as above ( only i used troll ungent insteadof rezz)
Pyre with Barrage , Sav Shot, Disrupting Shot, PTS, rezz or subsitute buring arrow for barrage and add volley
Any rit using Splinter Weapon

weird build but was fun to see all those arrows hit and spliter.

Was looking up some info bout Thackery when i noticed on its wiki page its the new Hero, as a Paragon.
All i could think was, WTF

Havent started Hearts of the North yet, but i will say this;
I NOW have lost total interest in doing it, if Thackery as a Paragon Hero is the reward.
