On December 31 (at the same time as the unannounced ladder freeze), the schedules for the daily ATs were noticeably bugged. Examples of this can be seenhere.
This issue resolved itself within the next day, but it came with something unexpected - an AT schedule change. (For reference, the last time there was a schedule change, it was listed in the update notes and had a calendar explaining the changes.)
The changes to the European ATs appear to be ok - they are still within the same three hour period that they used to be in. However, the American ATs were changed for the worse significantly.
The four American ATs since the change have been at 12AM/10PM/11PM/10PM (all times EST). This is significantly later than the original times, which were at 9PM/8PM/10PM/9PM. In particular, the Friday and Sunday times are unplayably late for most of the continental United States.
The questions this raises are:
1. Was this change intentional?
1a. If so, why was there no announcement?
1b. If so, what was the decision-making process behind selecting these times?
2. If not, when will the times be reverted?
As of this post, rotations are still not working correctly.
The best explanation is that the schedule was moved forward a day (Tuesday's times are what used to be Monday's times before the bug day, etc), but this still does not account for the change itself.
Official sources have not been forthcoming with any kind of information regarding the issue.
