Is it any faster to do this run with players if you can already do it quickly with a hero as Ranger/Necro? Seems like all the zoning would slow you down.

I just switched over to farming with my ranger. My runs with a nec hero with hearty pet come in consistently under 2 minutes.

I don't see how running it with another player could be much faster.

I plan on maxing party and sweets, and getting R10 on my Vanguard. I already went from 5 to 8, and have the week after XMASS off so acouple hours a day will get me there pretty easily I think.

I inevitably screw something up sooner or later but still figure my turn around time is less than 4 minutes and probably close to 3 overall.

No, people have claimed times of <1 minute. Personally trying to max sweet tooth, party animal, drunkard, and vanguard.

Since the dialogue at the start is around 47 seconds i'm gonna say that a sub 1 minute run is pretty much impossible.

My goal, as usual, is to have fun. Unfortunately, GW isn't that much fun (for me) any more - been there, done that. So, I might do some Wintersday quests, but farming is not on my list of fun things to do, and SD is kinda meh.

Dialogue is about 35-40 seconds, so a sub 1 min run is pretty much impossible but there are some fairly quick runs.

I imagine you could probably get 5 rewards in 10 minutes and average about 2 minutes from reward to reward which is about a 1 min 35 or 1 min 40 actual completion time and 20-25 seconds of zoning/accepting reward/starting quest again.

mine was to max my mates ranger for him as a present before he gets back from holiday i bought him the account so he shares the PW with me. then i have multi logged GW's so i can max my necro and his ranger, so get 2times the rewards in the same time. 20 gifts 10 tonics and money for each run somehow makes this more enjoyable

Just went back and timed it again, started my stopwatch as soon as the loading screen disappeared and stopped it when the other team turned hostile, it took 40 seconds.

I think last time I timed it I started the stopwatch when I pressed "Oh, yeah! Game on!" so +7 seconds for loading is plausible.

I doubted it at first too, the dialogue taking more than 40 seconds, it feels more like 20-25. But timing it shows the time to be just over 40 seconds indeed (around 42-43).

My goal... probably getting halfway, if not more, in the sweet tooth and party titles.

I already farmed about 2500 gifts, but I figure about 3-4k more would satisfy me (as well as max three more annoying titles ) .

After doing SD for a while, it's almost as if you're not even doing it. Like, it's almost as if you've turned yourself into a bot and you can almost completely focus on something else (t.v, book, etc) and still manage to get sub 2-min times each time lmao.

Yep, I farmed about 2,500 gifts in the first 3 days. And by the end I was paying almost no attention to what I was doing but /age was still giving <2 minutes.

Yeah the most annoying thing about SD farming is selecting Casey Carpenter among all the players around him. And rezoning to retake the quest of course.

Sorry I hate click-to-move . Anyway, it's just a minor inconvenience.
