1) Scroll of Battle Mastery: Your party gains 250% more experience from combat. This scroll ends after 150 enemies have been killed. When, and if, two bosses have been killed, your party moves 15% faster till the scroll is finished.
2) 6th Year Minis are minis of the "super rare" type such as Kanaxai, Naga Raincaller, Oni, Island Guardian, etc...
3) Lyssa's Dimension: You and your party will teleport to an alternate realm and battle a random group of eight enemies, no enemy more than two of a type. These enemies are Level 28 in NM and Level 30 in HM. You earn 100 gold and three random Material (non-rare) per group beaten. After every five groups, you earn an additional 250 gold and 1 Rare Material. After twenty battles, it ends. You earn 2 points if win 10 battles, or 5 points if complete all 20. Points are doubled in HM.
- New Title: Mindless Battle Master -
-- Rank 1: Crazy (Earn 125 points)
-- Rank 2: Bonkers (Earn 300 points)
-- Rank 3: Screwball (Earn 650 points)
-- Rank 4: Psychotic (Earn 1000 points)
-- Rank 5: Mad As A Hatter (Earn 1500 points; Max Title)
4) Add some new bosses to the ZBounty list. Some suggestions are:
-- Maw the Mountain Heart (Dreadnought's Drift)
-- Consort of Ruin (Depths of Madness)
-- Marnta Doomspeaker (Snake Dance)
-- Kaykitt Hidemender (Verdant Cascades)
-- Baglorag Grumblesnort (Nornhart Domains)
-- Razorjaw Longspine (Silent Surf)
-- Tembarr Treefall (Eternal Grove Explorable)
5) Add Pogahn Passage to the ZMission list so every mission can be on it.

I would like to see more of the player surveys like the one Arena Net put out at the end of War in Kryta. Maybe if they could make the surveys in game, so everybody would know that it's up instead of having to go to the Guild Wars website to find out. I think it could work if they make the survey come up the first time you log in since it's been posted. Then you could choose to skip it (with the option "don't ask me this again"), or to complete it. Obviously, the survey would only be completable once per account. Also have a place at the end of the survey (free response) where you could mention any suggestions you might have. I think this would really help Arena Net to see what we as players want to see improved/changed in the game, and might speed up the planning process for a lot of content updates, and possibly skill rebalances.
Also:
1. End boss (Menzies) for Fissure of Woe
2. Make Rangers not suck in PvE
3. I like the Obsidian weapon idea that was mentioned by several people
4. Something to slow down or stop speed clears.... get people back to doing balanced way. Balanced playing was so much more fun in my opinion
5. I really want Xinrae's Weapon and Defiant Was Xinrae reverted back to their original functionality that disabled spells. Although this didn't exactly fit into the Ritualist style of playing, it was something interesting and different, and made Ritualists fun(er) to play in PvP.

My thoughts.
Doesn't this thread belong in Sardelac? Anyways, since it's here......
While I too would love to see some of these things, a lot of the suggestions made are impractical at this stage of the game. Extra realms of the gods would require too much work creating new maps and an Auction house has already been nixed by Arena net. (Although, i like StormDragonZ's suggestion above. If it uses existing maps it could be done, but without the title track. I think it's too late to be adding new titles into the game.)
Other suggestions made are just too controversional. After every major change you see tons of threads on the forums. Half the player base is praising the latest update and the other half is screaming that the game is ruined.
My want list is simple. Simple to program (i think) and nice simple changes that no one could possibly get upset over.
1. Add a variety of sorts to the Hero List. Similiar to how we can order our skills by different criteria. Add the ability to sort our heroes by level, by alphabetical, by profession, by most-used, etc.
2. For the Quest list, it's nice that all the quests are grouped by their own area, but i'd like to see an additional grouping by Campaign first and auto-collapse the quests for the Campaigns your character is not currently standing in.
Now.....on to the controversial and/or time intensive wish lists that i'd love to see but I know will never happen.
1. End boss for FOW. I'd love this to happen. I guess it's possible and maybe something that could come with the 7 hero build.
2. Speaking of FOW, add some dang teleports to the place. Something similiar to UW. Allow party teleports to Rastigan, The Wailing Lord, Forgemaster and that Admiral on the Beach. You must have completed the quests for each before they become a teleport destination (or just talk to the guy on the beach).
3. Add the ability to earn survivor on older characters. It doesn't have to be easy. As a matter of fact, it shouldn't be easy. Make it a gold sink and a trial all wrapped up together. Maybe something like a new random gift from the UW end chest called Grenth's Gratitude. You click it to summon Grenth who is grateful for your service in banishing Dhuum that he allows you to petition him to remove a death from your death count. Cost is 100g per death removed. Maximum of 1000 deaths can be removed from 1 petition (100k). Once your death count reaches 0 your survivor track starts moving again. Grenth's Gratitude is an untradable item.
4. This one is more for GW2 than GW. I'd love to see it in GW, but I'm afraid it would be massive to program and require way too much time for the live team. Give the guilds more options.
- Various ranks for officers.
- Various abilities for officers that are toggled per officer. Some officers can recruit, some can start pvp battles, some can kick, some can mute members.
- Various toggles selections for the guild. Can allied officers mute or kick my members? Which officer should become the next leader if leader defaults? Guild Bank? Who can access the guild bank if there is one?
- Recruiters can view guild history on potential recruits. See how many guilds they've been in. How long in each guild? Have they ever been an officer? Have they ever been kicked?
- Potential recruits can see stats on guilds they are interested in joining. PvP ranking. # of members. # of allies. Names of officers. How long has the guild been around.
- Officers have more control over allies. Ability to mute members in allied guild. Guild leaders only have the power to kick members in allied guilds if that guild has opened that ability.

- Ranger buff (across the board): pet AI,spirits, traps, attacks with terrible effects like Hunter's shot
- Dervish buff/rebalance (AoHM linked to Mysticism would be a start)...A/D and W/D are better with scythe, lol?
- Elementalist buff for HM (intensity), Searing flames rebalance , Invoke Lightning recharge upped for PvP
- Ritualist SoS slight nerf, nerf to DWG +Spirit rift (would fix instagib rit bosses too), A-rage not armor ignoring
- necro, mesmer nearby damage AoEs changed to adjacent
- monk's reverse hex -> 5 energy
Unlikely:- Shadow form and shroud of distress killed so balanced teams can play again (don't care if sliver armor takes a hit in the process)
- New Codex bounty: Codex skillset of the day. Codex rules (lol 2 monks not allowed). Random enemies, random map. No cons. 1 Silver Z coin on completion, nonrepeatable daily quest. (per character)
- New Mesmer hero (female) that looks like the one on prophecies' box (complete with sword) to replace Gwen, who makes a long speech whenever I go down in UW
- alcohol changed to point system where you just use it
- tome trader
- all grind titles accountwide (Vanguard, Asura, Deldrimor, Norn, Lightbringer, Sunspear, etc.)

Force players to actually play the game as was originally intended, meaning balanced (or semi-balanced) teams, that are fighting the mobs. First thing on the list is changing / removing Shadow Form, obviously. After that, make AI a little smarter so mobs prioritize ritualists and not their spirits. (cuz ppl seem to solo half the game with their sos rits)

Well, if you want this, then I want PvP'ers to be prohibited from bitching that PvP is dead because they are and were a bunch of assholes who prevented an influx of new players in PvP.
It's said before, but on my number one is still Ele fix. Even if it means killing an ele boss in HM will be near impossible..

Let's look at what the assassin (generally agreed to be a very overpowered profession), can offer to a party:
Dagger builds, which offer insane single target damage, with a free secondary.
Critscythe, the most damaging scythe build in the game.
Shadow Form, the ultimate tanking skill.
Now, warriors:
Dragon Slash builds for optimum SY spammage.
Enduring Scythe, the second most damaging scythe build (but with SY).
Hundred Blades, which makes up half of the 100B+MoP combo that does more damage than anything else in the game.
BackBreaker+Renewing Smash, just in case killing a foe isn't enough and you want him to be forever on his rear end as you do it.
Earthshaker, for when you want to knockdown multiple foes.
Warriors can easily deal large amounts of damage to individual or multiple foes (often in the same build), has a powerful innate defense that does not require the use of skill slots, have multiple opportunities for utility, can slap SY onto almost any bar, do not require a secondary profession to be useful, and can easily utilize the weapons of many secondary professions (even if those weapons were designed to be energy-intensive).
Think about that for a moment. Warriors are good with weapons that were specifically designed to not be useful for them. At least scythes weren't intentionally designed to be anti-assassin.
Basically, the warrior is overpowered for many of the same reasons that assassins are overpowered.
Warriors are the Necromancers of physicals.
|
Your missing the fact that warriors suffer from the massive melee hate that exist more so then any other class. They have one skill to deal with blocking that takes 60 seconds to recharge and nothing to deal with blind. Don't tell me a monk will remove blind because when a tank is blind chances are it's also bleeding/poisoned/crippled/diseased/cracked armor and suffering from deep wound.
Wars are the point gaurd in the fight, they take massive amounts of damage and monks often can't stay in range to heal them. No, it's not because wars blindly charge into the back line for no reason, the reason a war is back there is to deal with an enemy monk that is keeping the mob alive or ressing.
Wars have the worst self healing in the entire game. And one of their skill lines is only of use to other professions.
Now I am not saying that wars need a massive buff, rather that they certainly do not need a nerf of any kind. The only real change I would like to see is Tactics moved to the primary attribute along side Strength so those skills could be reset to useful for Warriors and not just other classes.

In PvP these things keep warriors balanced. In PvE they are virtually non-issues.

I beg to differ. There are plenty of blocking/blinding foes in PvE and many times when wars are the first to die in a fight through no fault of their own.
Energy denial on a war is devestating even with adren skills because of how easy it is to block or blind them, not to mention hexs.
Virtually every other profession has either condition/hex removal or a means of playing through them. Warriors have nothing, they are totaly reliant upon monks/rits/mesmers/paragons/dervish/ect... to help them function.
In most all of PvE a party can function perfectly without a war using minions/pets/spirits or even summoning stones to replace the role wars generaly fill.
Nerf wars and you might as well just remove them from the game.

@Crom:
If you can't handle your monk hero to keep blind off your war in PvE, and maybe even Insight you (or buff otherwise), you're doing something wrong. If you have a full players team and you're running a damage build, not 'tank' (as in: the highest survivability), the casters (yeah, not only monks can get a cond removal!) do something wrong.
Other conditions are only covers in PvE, seriously.
Just as you might have missed that, it wouldn't be possible with any other class than a warrior.

Well, time to open the can of wishful thinking...
1. Worldwide inscriptions and new weapons added to old campaigns (i.e.: Daggers dropping Prophecies). Also weapon upgrade trader, or at least more salvageable mods in collectors.
2. Make Titan Quests repeatable and/or have better rewards. It's a shame making all those cool Titan models and using them just a couple of times.
3. End chests in Sorrow's Furnace and Tombs of the Primeval Kings. Sorrow's Furnace chest will have a chance to drop any of the uniques all other bosses have, and inscribed gold skins that can drop in the area, and Stone Summit skins. The chest from killing the darknesses would have a chance to drop inscribed Tomb skins or any of the greens the darknesses drop.
4. Make end-chests count towards the Treasure Hunter title track. +5 points in NM, +10 in HM.
5. Change drunkard to be less annoying to get, giving all beverages effect icons, increasing the time you can be drunk from 3 minutes to more, and/or giving points just for consuming the stuff like with sweets and party items.
6. FoW end boss, and access to the remaining 3 realms of the gods. Dwayna's would be an exception, since it won't be a place for battle and an end-boss you defeat, but filled with min-games, and the end-boss is defeated with a min-game too.
7. Extra damage in skills from martial weapons is armor ignoring. Same with spirit attacks, mesmer skills and most necromancer and monk smiting skills. That leaves elementalists in a bad situation damage-wise in HM. Fix that too.
Well, that's what overflowed from the can when I opened it. It has many, many, many other things, but It's a pain to gather them, filtering them, putting them in order and make any sense of them, I'll leave them in the can for now.

Dogs and wolves are the same species. Dogs are just s sub-species.
Main differences are in behavior and a few physical traits.
The main visible difference is that the less a dog resembles a wolf, the more ridiculous it looks. Just compare a pug and a Tamaskan.
So when you get a wolf, you get your dog, without looking ridiculous.
Isn't that great?
