The Fissure of Woe. After 5+ years, it's still my favorite zone in the game.

As far as non-elite areas, probably Scoundrel's Rise. After the desolated areas of post-searing Ascalon and the snowy Shiverpeaks, it was the first green area a player would see again after several hours of play.

I still remember emerging from the caves of Griffon's Mouth for the first time, not to mention my earliest farming run was to minion aggro the entire zone and pick up the drops. I even used my first cap sig to get Animate Bone Fiend from Lord Timot.

Kessex Peak: The floating castle is worth the trip...and having to kill all of Galrath's minions.

Jade Sea. I still think the idea is cool.

I would love floating islands but I played Burning Crusade first and kinda got sick of flying around in Nagrand.

Mineral Springs.
I've been there so much for no real reasons. Even having to search the whole map for 30 minutes for that last monster during the vanquish didn't bother me that much.

Eastern Frontier only because I remember that was the first time I saw a storm bow when someone was helping me out way back when just a bit before factions release.

Prophecies - Spearhead peak, love fighting my way up to the top of that mountain
Factions - Jaya bluffs, I want to go down to that beach dammit!
Nightfall - Garden of seborhin, mainly because I like the architecture
EotN - tough choice but I'd say Sacnoth valley, because of the burning forest

Visually I really like the waterfall and rope bridge at Riven Earth (although I really hate playing that area due to annoying dinosaurs).
