...why? The quests, including reward, scale based on party leader's level. A more difficult quest will require higher level teammates to complete (ideally), and although you could cheat the system by having a low-level lead you, you'd be ripping yourself off in terms of experience.
So... I doubt it.

Agreed. Where it will come in handy is when my lvl 16 toon on another account takes my new toon on my main account for a little scale bashing

Most people recieved arround 300-600 xp a day via death leveling (if i'm not mistaken). So i hope the quest reward will be arround the same. Also no disconnections so

I wish I didn't move my LDoA out of presear just to get that HoM statue. Oh well, it wasn't that hard to do (with a stable net connection). Might make a new presear char to check out how the daylies are done.

Epic update, this will get me to play the game again! I'll get my level 16 to 19 as fast as possible.
Now one thing I consider a MUST for Pre to be PERFECT is removal of the Fire Imp summon and /bonus weapons. Especially the Fire Imp, which is practically a god, an uber tank and killer combined in one uber creature. That's why if it stays there I will never want to get level 20 - that would be losing like 50% potential power of my character.
And PreSearing is currently the place where real $$$ buys you incredible power advantage over regular players.
Fire Imp has to go, it's absurd. Suggested solution: disable it at level 10 or 12 while in Pre, so new players who aren't perma-pre can still use it but it has no significant effect on the higher level Pre gameplay.

Well, if rewards also scale with the leading character's level then it may be a complete waste of time. You know, if there's just 1 quest per day you should want to get the most of it.

i tried for ldoa before but dc'd and me having issues with pulling charr made it impossible for me. >< yeah laugh at the pulling bit. with lag it made it hard for me to be a good puller, not a noob at it but not a pro either. so these daily things might make me go for this title one last time.

I got close to Level 17 on my pre-toon trying to death level, but found the task too boring and repetitive. I don't know if I'll delete my character though because of this change, I mean yes 24k deaths, but I've had that character for years and can't bring myself to delete him. Which means no survivor title for me.

Why not.. you have burned very little quest exp. You wont have nearly the task starting over on survivor as someone who has burned up most of the quest exp ingame. Dont Delete. pre exp is a drop in the bucket for survivor.

I started a LoDA character as soon as i saw the /deaths message after the derv update ..... soon realized how pain in the ass death leveling was going to be... esp since I'm the one paying the electric bill and the servers are not the most reliable over 4-8 hours if afk to level char to the appropriate level

No. Just wild mass guessing. Should be cleared up in a few hours, at most.

This is.... unexpected.
I might just actually delete my 5 year old PvP character or buy a new slot to get a perma-pre character now (or, semi-perma, I guess I have to leave it to get in the HoM after all).

At least this means a flood of people returning to pre-searing and making it look more occupied than it is now. Which means new players won't only be surrounded by perma-pre veterans. Haha.
And now I have another reason to play my pre-char. Farming for Nicholas got boring and I stopped. Now it's farming for him and levelling for LDoA, perfect.
If the exp rate is about 1000exp per quest per day, that means I'll need about 93 days to get LDoA. Woot.

Didn't you get the message that they also added Kimmes in pre to add pre titles to HoM?

True, but I'm terrible at the pulling thing and I'd save my free time for doing other stuff like raping vanquishes/UW/Fow with 7 heroes or just saving my bill by having my computer off when I'm not around. Haha.

Also, you DO get experience from the enemies you fight while doing the dailies (the ones that are the appropriate level range anyways), so you could always hold off on getting your experience reward and simply fight the enemies given by the quest. It's just as good as death-leveling, but doesn't take 8 hours to do one round....more like 10-15 minutes lol
But, this is dependent on the nature of the 8 quests we haven't seen yet. Some may have enemies that aren't buffed in levels, etc, etc.
