The evening before the update (March 2nd) I've sold three of my black moa chicks to finance the buying of a dozen sup vigor runes -- stick them all on my PvE chars then the heros on my main two PvE characters. Saved myself approx. 200K when compared to today's rune prices. But....

...then I'd discovered mercenary heroes come "naked" so I ended up striping those same sup vigor runes off some of my PvE characters that I hardly play any more to equipt my new mercenary heroes. Then I had to cash out some major vigor runes in order to purchase needed insignias/other runes for them.

So what? Use major runes for the heroes you hadn't equiped yet and give'em insignia's for +AL rather then survivors or radiant. Prices will drop again.

I salvaged some runes from maguuma manes farming and was pleasantly surprised to see minor soul reaping going for 3.5k to buy from NPC. Luckily I don't need to rune any heroes at this time.

10 characters * 100000 gold per hero set... Sure didn't feel like saving gold at the time

Vigors were the least of the problems, since I used minors on everyone except assassins. Centurions for paragons, survivors for necros, etc, those were expensive.

Ah I thought you meant 100k per hero rune set, but you meant set of heroes .
