I find it fun. In fact, I'd prefer if they took some of the time they spend on GW2 to improve GW1, I'd be ecstatic.

Because it never gets boring, even the title grinds are fun. Only longer breaks I have taken were because I forgot to play... Kind of bad, but it's what I do (forgetting things like that... for 2 years...)...

...because:

1) achievements ( especialy vanquisher. it´s my favourite )

2) gift for B-day in game for ur toon. it´s lovely. really. i have this day in my calendar.

3) all events ( christmas mainly )

4) ability to tame 99% of game animals ( yes i´m ranger )

5) i don´t need to target/aim. just press skill and toon will run to mob. click on NPC and toon will autorun there. ( love this. adore it. saves me so much annoying pressing W or right+left click to run somewhere to NPC to start talking to it )

6) heroes/henchmen ( party available 24/7. hard dungeon and you need pause? no problem. even 1hour pause. people dont wait, they leave and all progress is lost. heroes do wait. eternal fun!!! I can wake up in middle of night after nightmare at 3am. grab full party and go do something. no STUPID waiting 2hours for good party of people )

7) fast map traveling for free ( best feature MMO can have - free travel )

8) option to improve armor by adding things like runes, etc.

9) surprises ( like that rabbit ambush in eye of north )

...because after 4 years, I still love the game. There is still so very much to do.

...because I have really not decided on a "favorite" toon, I don't have GWAMM. I do have 4-5 characters that can go anywhere and do anything and it's hard to concentrate on one.

...because I still don't have 50/50. I'm at 42/50 and not anxious about it.

...because my guild is still active, fun and friendly and not dying like so many are.

...because I can log into the game and still find something to do that I've never done.

...because I still don't have a Legendary Survivor or Legendary Defender of Ascalon.

There are other reasons, but my fingers are tired.

For now, i'm piling up gold just for the heck of it. Who knows if Anet makes it transferrable to GW2?
