My 2 main chars carry ID and salvage kits, DP rems, lockpicks and one choice mini: atm Ranger has the Zippy and Ritualist has the Kuuna (he's still waiting for his Oni). Other than that, my Ranger has the EL Mursaat tonic which I find too awesome not to carry all the time, and the Bloody Heart, which a friend gave to me for Wintersday and I promised I would always have it in my inventory.
Other than those there are the armors and the weapons - my Ranger carries the bow collection, which is ~20-25 bows long (I forget how many...), the running caster Shadow Blade and my running Guardian of the Hunt. Awesome skins, those are. The Ritualist carries some staves and shields and some CCs, but only the caster obby and the Bladed Shield see any action...
And I also carry 2-300g on every char just in case I need to invite someone in a hurry, lol.

Before the HOM reveal, only the ele needed a bigger bag to accommodate her love for fashion, but since then I could use one of them on every toon... darn minipets. Apart from that, there's usually an id and a salvage kit in the backpacks of every char in the first row plus three of their most frequently used alternate weapons. The rest is reserved for drops and lockpicks, if I remember to pack em.

Derr people don't pick up loot.
I haven't done enough ZQ to get heavy packs yet so I use the cheapo merchant ones.
But I bring a few minipets :P, ID and Salvage kits you can get from those quest reward tokens (superiors), lockpicks if I have them, and headgear/armor in the last bag and kit.

Eh 1 armor set I'll probably never wear/use again. It has runes that set me up for a way old farming build I used to like to play. Axe, Hammer, Tactics based shield (never use this either, always have enough strength for my shield I always use's req. A bow for pulling, a VDS I use from time to time if I remember I have it. HM quest and dungeon book.
In my first bag there's a lot of crap. ID and salvage kit, a con set for emergencies (haven't had to use it yet), honeycombs I'm trying to use up, 4 leaf clovers for DP, power stones for DP emergencies, doubt I will ever have to use them.
Pumpkin Pie's for when I want an IAS and don't want to use candies or doing an area that wont' take me too long and don't wanna build up the 4 adrenaline cause it takes too long for my impatience.
Summoning Stone, whichever I have the most of right now it's mysterious. Candy Apples and something else from halloween that gives me a boost, using those till they're gone. Good way to benefit myself while vanqing or doing a dungeon and getting sweet tooth at same time.
Lockpicks. Last thing is candy of some sort, but only if I'm vanqing or doing a dungeon. I go by worst to greatest, using blue atm. All that crap and I still have about 30 spots for drops. Which is good enough for me most of the time.

I have 20-slot eq bags on two of my characters, and the rest have 15-slotters.
On all of the characters that I actually play, my bag format is like this.
Backpack: Id/Salvage kits
Pouch: Mini pets, random doodads (Red Irises, Rune of DOOM, etc)
Bag 1: HM Books, consumables, overflow from other bags
Bag 2: Equipment
I keep all my lockpicks consolidated in the xunlai, and only withdraw 5-10 of them if I intend on going somewhere with chests.

My characters usually carry id kits, salvage kits, lockpicks, candy, extra weapons, a couple of minis, spare headgear, books, honeycombs and other sweets. I might be forgetting a thing or two, but those are the basics for sure.

All my characters carry spare weapons and armor in their equipment bags, and random stuff they might need or that I want to keep for some reason in their 2 ten slot bags. My storage has a panel that I use to empty those bags into before I start playing. When I play, I only bring what's in my equipment bag, an ID kit and a salvage kit. That leaves me 43 spots to pick up loot. When a character is done, it takes its junk back from the storage before logging off.

I have equipment bag from the merchant, where I keep alternative weapons. +60hp 20/20 10/20 curses staff is my "main" weapon, but I also have high energy set, mainly for mesmer-heavy areas with lots of energy draining and for dungeon bosses, because they normally take a while to kill and soul reaping doesn't keep me fueled as nothing is dying. I used to have caster-modded destroyer sword and skull shield, but I just sold the shield. Flatbow for pulling, of course. I usually try to put everything to storage when I'm heading out, so on my bags I normally have only ID and Salvage kits and book if I need one. Minis were pain in the ass, but I gave them all away for free after dedication, so my storage problems are somewhat solved.

What's in your inventory?
Hey all,
So I've recently gotten my hands into a bit of vanquishing with the zaishen daily quests. However, while watching some videos for different builds or approaches, I found most people carried around very few items in their inventories.
This differs from me in that my backpack is almost completely full 100% of the time. I even have it where it doesn't display ever when I talk to a merchant, only my 2nd 3rd and 4th bags.
So two questions:
1. What should I carry as only the bare essentials, excluding weapons
2. What kind of junk have you managed to save in your backpack?
I personally have 3 minipets, 3 shields, 4 swords, a longbow, a salvage kit, an ID kit, a couple random consumables (candy corn and birthday cake??) and some random alcohol. Now that the title system is different tho I can probably just drink it and open it up some.
EDIT oh also have some monastery credits, kournan coins, and confessor's orders...

Bare essentials: ID kit, expert salvage kit. That's all you really need.
Junk in my backpack: Each of my chars tends to carry their own weapons and armors. Monk, Ele and Warrior excluded. I have two storage accounts for their armors. >_>
My storage is cluttered, though. There are the dyes, random req 9 stuff I cannot bear to merch but never really seem to find anyone to give them to, several miniatures I do not despise for some reason, quest items I have no idea which character they belong to, ... I need to do a spring cleaning.

I'm with cataphract, just the bare essentials go in my backpack - Superior ID, Superior Salvage, party-wide DP removal, summoning stones. My equipment pack has weapons & armor and my other bags hopefully are empty to pick up my drops. My motto is leave no drop behind.
