Where is the new "Monthly" Flux?
Wasn't sure if post it here or in Gladiator's, but:
http://www.guildwiki.org/Flux
As wiki say, the Flux enviromental effect which affect the PvP areas should change every month.
It was introduced on the 28th of April, so it should have changed on the same day of May, but there's no clue about the next one.
Where is it?
Also i'd ask you...what kind of Flux do you expect/want/do not want to see in next (and following) months?
P.S:I know that some people probably dislike the whole Flux feature, but is part of the game, we have to deal with it).

Being that it's a holiday weekend here in the US they probably won't change it until tomorrow.

I could have sworn they said it would occur on the 1st of every month starting in June.

The official wiki says that Flux will start on the first of every month.
And considering this..
Quote:
The introduction of Flux is a compelling tool to help us keep our competitive formats dynamic, while allowing us to further balance the game. Because slight shifts in the meta are expected from Flux to Flux, it allows us to better target overly problematic builds. If powerful builds can thrive in environments that are not suited to them, we can review the skills to bring them more into line. We want to encourage gameplay where the team that wins does so because they've played more skillfully.

I hope to see whatever helps Anet balance PvP.

It would be bad if it changed on MAT day (or even just prior to it).
I expect the new Flux to go in with the map rotation update.
Edit:
Well if sources say the 1st of every month then maybe they've got something that updates it automatically.

Seems that me and everyone i was talking to about this totally missed it.
Now, what will the upcoming Flux be is a good question....
Not too specific to cripple/overpower certain builds/profs (at least in theory....).
Not too general to do not have nearly any effect on PvP.
After the Lone Wolf erma "berseker" mode when alone, i've already run out of ideas.
EDIT: Right 2 mins after you enlightened me, i've found this...http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...0&postcount=13

Pretty sure it'll be changed alongside the AT rotation, so Thursday.

It's not the first of the month yet and I think it will change on 12:00 am PST on the first (or around that time) automatically without any updates (same as all full automated rotations, such as zaishen/codex/etc).
@Xenomortis: That will happen, atleast a few times a year.
@angelwjedi: They are working on the HM quests, it just takes a bit more work then just increasing the lvls (such as balancing it a bit to prevent semi-invincible enemies or even worse; joke enemies that die easilly just like normal HM enemies). Have a bit more faith in ANET (not too much, mind you).

Somehow, I don't think that new Fluxes are going to be automated.
I mean, they still have to manually update rotations for automated tournaments.

I have a sneaky feeling a bunch of new HM quests will be released along side the normal versions of the WoC quests.

I would expect some flux that will have a real impact on the game instead of lone flux... You know, sometimes , i was really wondering if lone flux was working considering there was 0 damage difference ( and yet , this could just be a way to influence players ....)
Problem is how to find something not too useless and not too overpowered... But wouldn't a simple skill restriction solve everything ??

I think this has more to do with ANET doing it manually on purpose for the automated tournament. If I remember it correctly, it had something to do with preventing certain forms of cheating the tournament (was something I read around 2009 IIRC).

as long as its not something absolutely retarded like all hexes/conditions have 100% increased duration, then idc what it is. Flux hasnt until now made any significant change to the game that i can see and for the most part i can see that continuing.

LOL. Automatically? This is anet we're talking about. Remember the company that was adding up monthly Z-Key points with pencil and paper?

Unyielding Spirit: For every 2 points of death penalty you have, you deal 1% more damage.
So less focus on flag pushing ^.^
