That engineer reminds me so much of tf2. Sentry, dispensers(healing turrets), "rocket jumping".

I can see how the charr would end up with this though, but i agree its a bit too much.

Also they did say that they would not drop gw1. there will be a team working on gw1.

I think people are jumping the bandwagon a bit too early on the: "Technology is shit, no weapons in GW2".

From a lore point of view: We already have fireworks, and the asuran have technology way above ours today. I know you can't compare our world to the GW-world, but the same logic can be drawn.

Even more so, I think that the weapons (and turrers) had a nice style to them. For some reason, a Charr engineer really seemed to work (Purely looking at visuals) so I really wouldn't say: "it totally doesn't belong there". It probably just looks that way because you've never seen it in GW1 (aside from da chopper in the april update) and your brain identifies guns with brainless shooters. Essentially, a gun is no different than a bow, with offcourse the obvious handicap it won't one-hit-kill people.

What I am worried about, is the balance of those turrets and guns. Anet might not realize it yet, but they're creating a vast database of mechanics, way larger than GW currently has, and we all know how the balance turned in GW. (And that's without all this new effects, race treats, etc)

My first one was a EL Hayda. Not great but still made a few ecto off of her. Second one is the one I was praying for, EL Margonite! WOOT! Last year I thought Anet should give a glow to those that have been playing for so long so this tonic lets me glow in a different fashion! Totally stoked!

so after checking wiki, Zhed doesn't do emotes, which makes him a dull and boring El...waiting for my other character to turn 6 later this summer hopefully he ain't garbage.
