The turtles can't finish everything. If they are between the inner and outer gates and right outside the inner gates, you should be the one killing enemies because it's extremely easy to stall the turtles in those places.
You should do your best to get the turtles inside quickly. Rushing in to get the enemies attention might work from time to time, but you are in their bases, and generally they will outnumber the number of people rushing.

You can try to rush and kill the NPCs (except the Juggernaut because he has more health and armor) at the Green gate because the monks are probably not thinking about protecting it at that time, but only do that if you can actually quickly kill them (10 seconds or less).
The idea with letting the turtles do their own thing is that you open a second front, and that situation is much less forgiving to Kurzick mistakes. That way Kurzick need to control at least two areas at the same time (and that's just on one side!) and with the strength of the mesmer nukes (which are in the same line as Shame/Diversion and Blackout!) it can get too much for a random team really fast.
And if the Kurzick stall the turtle, that means that they are at least one person down to take care of the team that is nuking the vital NPCs.

Meh let's just drop this conversation : FA is too random, so there is no luxon tactics that is a guaranteed win, and I'm not only talking about the players' intelligence. You can't expect to act the same way in every single match, you have to adapt to what the kurzicks and your team are doing.

I think, and I think this thread is showing, that the difficulty for the luxons comes from there been two different stategies been required to deal with players and npcs.

We will all agree that the best way to deal with npc's is to nuke them, plain and simple, just nuke them. However, this is not the best way to deal with players. The best way to deal with players is disruption. Blinds and E-Denial come to mind. You do not want to kill them. Blind melee cant hit you and E-Denialed Casters cant cast. Dead ones rez straight away.

No single player can do all this. And no one can guaruntee what the other players will do.

On a side note, I would like to time how long it takes to reach say, 50000 Faction on each side and see how they compare.

Good Luxon players can overcome the Kurzick advantage, it would be nice if they fixed the turtle bugs though, as the Kurzicks have a huge advantage when that happens. Asymmetric gameplay is hard to make completely balanced, though.

I'm more troubled by Kurzick advantage in JQ because that map gives the appearance of perfect balance, when in reality the Kurzicks have a small but solid advantage (unless that has been fixed).
