ANET is always right guys - I never loose faith in them. The area has been fixed.
If you still fail, then your team sucks. Improve and try again.

If they would just make it so that if you have a party member that hasn't done WoC it reverts back to normal mobs, it would be better. It makes sense to do that since it's that way for WiK.

Fix should look like: If all Ministry of Purity quests offered in Kaineng are finished, then revert.
Not just this, also the extremely OP Am Fah in Shenzun are annoying. Took me several attempts to find a team that didn't wipe at the first group w. the ele fire boss. Finally did it, which surprised me tbh. Nearly gave up on Canthan VQ altogehter there .....
Way to go A'Net

^but the point in the quests is to get rid of the Afflicted, which is what happens and therefore that is why there is scavengers.

Isn't it the way GW was meant to be played, rather than rolling through the whole content with one build?

It was the way GW Normal Mode was meant to be played, back then.
Someday, they'll add an uber mode, and someday, people will whine because they have died three times playing at uber.

No - PvE was never meant to be overly difficult. It was meant to teach you the basic mechanics of game play and team play and to unlock skills so that you could move on the the real challenging content - PvP. It was only because of the whining of people who bought the wrong game that we have the frustratingly boring OP content we have today.
I actually remember the days when there were refund points you had to acquire prior to changing your stats. The original game was very much geared to having you become proficient with a single build, instead of the Build Wars that we have now.

Ahh man, I forgot that, those sucked. Couldn't be bothered trying new builds because of those. Glad they got rid of em.

/agree. The real true. I still remenber 2005, Althea's ashes, Thunderhead Keep, how to defeat your Doppelganger... all challenging quest and missions but not this ridiculous difficulty (like DoA in his first days).

It's not impossible with a warrior. Anet decreased the group size from 6 to 4. It's funny how ANet are using popular builds against us now.

I would try million different builds and spend few weeks to do it........ 5-6 years ago.
Now I just can't be asked to waste time on it. It's broken and I would rather do something more useful like replacing bulb in my car.

I rolled through this area with my warrior and heroes. I never finished The Last Day Dawns on my warrior.

Like MisterB say, they are usign our builds against us but very OP (I've seen an afflicted monk spamming bonds to cover all "his team" (6) when I lure them and it seems that energy it's not a problem. Now my master of whisper has chillblains ).

Max ebon vanguard tittle and taking PI and EVAS it's almost mandatory. There is a thread for these quest. But if you want to ensure the victory, spend 90-120 min. from ToA (8-man team) or less with a runner.

Don't get me wrong.
That was not whinging earlier, simply pointing out that a bit of thouhgt abut the build / team is a good thing.
The only thing that I can remember which was as challenging as this recently was BfLA or HM Mantle in Kryta.
However I stick to my revert theory

And that's at the root of the problem. The OP/"Elite" content almost requires gimmicks and specialized builds, et al. That's been the flaw with the game - since it was never designed to have difficult PvE, the mechanics don't really support a proper elite balance without resorting to gimmicks. To me, that's not fun or challenging - just boring and unoriginal.
Styxgyan is right - it was much more fun and challenging to play the game with a build of my own choosing and not one that I was forced into because of the gimmick areas and builds that have since become the norm with NPC/PvE content.

^ If you'd rather have fun and original builds instead of difficult content, you can always do everything in NM.

That's part of the game, too - if they wanted you to play all elite content with builds of your choosing, there would not be a restriction on skills. That very restriction forces you to consider more than just how you play to complete elite content, but also the very skills you use, a secondary level of depth that many games ignore.

Really? You can VQ in NM now. Huh, when did that happen? The thread was started in regards to VQing after completing WoC and last time I checked you have to VQ in HM

Or is there a quest, that will negate WoC pops? Would presence of someone with active quest there negate WoC changes?

If its impossible for you now, it will be even more impossible after they nerf armor ignoring damage. Hopefully you already got all your titles done before their massive nerf.
