Hello everyone!

As mentioned a week or two ago, a few members of GW2 pvp forums have decided to liven things up on the currently kinda boring GW, and have thus organised weekly TA-style tournaments.

General outline of the tournament: 4v4 uncharted(back path) TA style.

- Tournaments will be held weekly. Top 16 teams will gain points, the top 8 teams at the end of the month will be entered into the monthly tournament, winning team gets free copies of guildwars2! Other prizes for the monthly are possible!

- Points during weekly tournaments:
1st 100points
2nd 75points
3rd 60points

- Teams must be submitted on the forum before the check in time
- The means of communications will be on #gwp on the gamesurge irc server (www.gamesurge.net/chat) or use an IRC client(www.mirc.com/get.html )
- Will have everyone on a vent(info later)

In game rules

- Teams are only able to have 2 class types per group (so no tripple mo, tripple ele, tripple dervish etc. teams)
- Teams will have to take a screenshot of their loss/win
- Games will be played on Uncharted(back path). Can not go upstairs or into footmen.
- Semi finals and finals(and 3rd place) will be best-of-3, while weekly tournaments will be best-of-1.
- Brackets will be posted after check in (9:30pm gmt)
- Teams will be called in to the guildhall to play their matches. First team will be called in and will be asked to move to the other side of the map, then their opponents will be called in. Match will begin and next set will start!

Terms of winning:
- fully dp out other team
- Team fully leaves designated area(3 people base res, and kill last person)
- All 4 people are dead
- After 15min team with higher morale wins --> in case of a draw, the team with the higher morale wins

Notes:
This is just the start of the rules, I will probably end up changing some things. This first month is really just a test run and tweaks can be made! The prizes will becoming from guildwars2pvp.com but we're still looking for some admins to help out with checkins/call in for matches/problems people are having, PM if youre interested. Looking for people who would be dedicated weekly!

Also looking for someone to make an awesome banner for each week post (week 1,2,3 monthly) would have your banner at the top. can be paid in gw1 items or maybe some real money . Pm me!

Will be adding anti griefing rules later. Just in general if I see something as total griefing/not fun for the tournament I can have have that team DQ'ed

Next to the quoted post, I'd like to add a few things myself.

Vent/TS3 servers will be added later on.
Only the team captain needs to register on GW2 pvp forums and post apply their team there.

As already mentioned, rules may be further adjusted as to prevent excessive griefing/running/laming (applies mostly for bo3, not bo1).

Next to the real-life rewards there will most likely be in-game rewards such as zkeys, ectos and the likes, but we first want to see how many ppl will be interested.

3rd of december is my birthday, but if the time works for me I might be able to play then, because I've been waiting for a TA tourny for so long. I would be sad if I missed out on all the fun just because I couldn't play the first day. But as I said, I'll try
