Additionally, there will be a way to revert zones back to how they were, the same as things were handled with WiK.

The difference in WiK was that the spawns didn't stay for as long, effectively stopping people from getting their VQ title for months. This pissed off the casuals quite a bit.

Very good indeed. Rescue at Minister Cho's Estate being notorious for the 50/50 fail chance at the end.

When you boil it down, that pretty much describes most of GW1's content.

After looking at John's wiki page I found this I do hope he's kidding with it
There's going to be some fairly major revisions to balance on most of the content that came with P1 & P2 of WoC, including the respawned explorable zones. Andrew has had a change of heart, and decided that everything should no longer be at Titan-quest level. I think most people will find going through the content less of an exercise in frustration with the new release. Apologies to the people who haven't enjoyed the content as a result of the difficulty. But for the last part, we're trying to address some common complaints - rest assured that means 8,000% more Afflicted for the ending! I hated afflicted soul explosion the 1st time around and 8.000% more souns insane

John - the difference between wik and woc that i feel annoyed players was the way wik only had wik foes if prophs/eotn was done otherwise if a player was in the team who had not done the above the foes would resort to normal. But Woc seemed to have missed that part - in a way any player who hadnt done factions or started woc was able to join a woc enabled team and face foes that were designed for Woc.
In Wik that ability to switch even if your chr hadnt gone thru to end of wik was usefull , in a way it meant runners would be able to run without having to check if any team members had wik unfinished or wik bounties.

Haha yeah, I'd loose a lot of money at that but I actually wouldn't mind at all. I'd truely love to be able to mod my canthan staves differently, it's a pain in the arse to have them modded with 20\20 or 20\10 when what you actually want is 20 +5e ;p
And Canthan Prot Bo staff or Dragon <3 Damn that would be nice

Nope, not quite the case. I was there too, it was Admin John. He said the update would be out BY, not at, 4pm pst, and to err on the side of earlier.
